My wife and I checked into Puji house one on Tue 16 April 2019 for 4 nights. Even though the check in time was 2 PM my wife and I were allowed to check in by 11:15 AM. ||||My wife is a fussy person who does a lot of research to find affordable accommodation with great reviews and fantastic location. In other words, derive maximum value for money. ||||With Puji House one she had ticked all the check boxes. ||||Our stay was relaxing. ||||Augus and Agung made us feel welcome. They are an awesome couple. I am really amazed how they manage to keep all the 8 rooms in this impeccable state. It must be very hard work indeed.||||They are professional. The room is awesome. The ceiling is high. The room is spotlessly clean. Room has a refrigerator, a table, two chairs, A small clothes stand to dry things, a cupboard, safe with numeric lock, Clean bathroom, clean toilet, I liked the floor tiles a lot. The walls appeared to be freshly painted. If you are eating a cake and if it falls down on the floor, you can just pick it up and continue eating. The room was that clean!! The beds and bed linen were spotlessly clean and comfortable. 24 X 7 hot water. ||||Fluffiest snow-white towels, Kettle, mugs for making coffee/ tea, chilled drinking water bottles were provided each and every day. Breakfast was excellent. All you need to do is to communicate your wish and they make it available. ||||It is strategically located. It is a quite place and yet not very far from the market. ||||They did everything to make our stay comfortable. They did not even bill us for certain eatables requested by us. ||||When I next visit Bali my preferred place for stay will most certainly be Puji House One. ||||The swimming pool outside the room was a definite plus. Clean inviting pool. Often, we check into big hotels with pool but never bother to use it. However, at Puji House we did use the pool and really enjoyed it immensely. This place is quiet and tranquil.||||Augus and Agung always helped us with our transport. ||||I strongly recommend the place. I am sure you will be just as delighted as us with stay at Puji House One. ||||Augus and Agung, thanks a lot....
Read moreWe stayed here for the last 17 days of our month long trip and feel that we have finally found the perfect place for us. The accommodation is family owned and run,and there is 8 rooms. 4 upstairs and 4 downstairs. All rooms face out onto the medium size pool so they all have a balcony with chairs. The pool is very easy to access and not very deep ( I’m just on 5ft and could stand up in the deep end). The pool was well maintained and very cool on hot days. The rooms are basic but very comfortable, with a very comfortable bed, air conditioner and private bathroom with a great shower . There is a room safe and Bar fridge . There was a TV but there was a problem with the antenna when we were there. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and they are very willing to help you. No breakfast or restaurant but the accommodations are located about 10 minutes walk away from Legian Food Court so no issues. There is excellent dining, laundry and shopping options nearby too. The complex is very quiet and relaxing. There are several residential dogs, some budgies and even a tank of fish. The room was...
Read moreA very small very local villa with a nice pool. Some nice people were having a long stay upstairs. Clean and safe place, it is run by a Balinese husband and wife that live there, they do the cleaning and take care or everything. The wife would bring me local treats from the market sometimes after I asked about local foods. Anything you need you just need to ask.
They are still renovating the place while I was there. You should know that this is not a hotel so don’t expect hotel quality but at the same time you are paying a fraction of an amount, are in a much nicer location, and are supporting the real local people.
This place is also situated in a great central location outside of the crazy hyper-capitalist parts of Legian. Those parts are still a few minutes walk down the road if you want them, but outside the place there is some peace, no one was hassling me for anything. Try Warung Pan Dira for food on the road, and Wargola for a very local nasi rice triangle thing or kelapa muda...
