Warung Mamma — Restaurant in Kuta

This is our second time coming to this restaurant. It's pretty close to our hotel and the menu is various. The price is fairly okay. The food is tasting okay but sometimes it's not fresly hot like you freshly cooking it (for some meal). First day, we order the grilled chicken and teriyaki chicken. The grilled chicken is kinda tasting like tomato sauce and the teriyaki chicken is too salty and it's lacking of the sweetness. But overall the food is tasty. The fresh juice is cheap (10k). If you don't really like sweet, please order with less sugar unless it will be too sweet. Second day we came, we ordered nasi goreng special, pizza, and sate ayam. It was good. We would like to recommend it to others.

Why not 5 stars? For me the place is too hot. The heat and the air are not going on well. I mean, for the outdoor it is okay but for the inside, they probably can consider the AC. And since the provide the wifi, it will ne nice to provide the stop contact too so you can charge your devices.

Cheap beer by Kuta-Legian standards (S Bintang 22k / L 35k). Affordable food on extensive menu. However, the food quality came out to be somewhat questionable. First time ordered Chicken Gordon Bleu which came as generous portion of meat but it was a bit too dry. Second time got Chicken Parmigiana and that also came as hearty portion. However, something was off and smelled a bit weird, which I’m sure was the tomato sauce. It didn’t make me sick but gave a bit stomach rumble for the rest of the night. Therefore dropping my rating from positive 4 star...

Warung Mamma is such a cute and cozy spot. The food and drinks are super affordable, and they also have shisha, the most affordable I’ve seen in the area. The service was good and overall, it was a nice experience.

The pizza was just okay. It was edible, but the sauce was way too runny, almost like a liquid rather than a proper pizza sauce. A bit of improvement there would make a big difference!
