Rasti Homestay — Hotel in Lombok

The room - clean room and bedding and bathroom. Private bathroom had a very hot shower with good pressure. Shelving unit in the room to unpack, 2 bedside tables with a lamp on each. Nice floor to ceiling curtains. Patio by the entrance with 2 outdoor chairs and a table where breakfast is brought to you every morning (you just co-ordinate with them on the morning at what time you’d like the breakfast. My partner and I are both vegan and they accommodated their breakfast accordingly.

Service- brilliant. Rafi, the owner, she was very easy to contact and speak to in person and over WhatsApp. Very knowledgeable and able to help plan itineraries and provide competitive quotes.

I had an incredible stay at Rasti Homestay in Kuta, Lombok! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the warm and friendly hosts who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

The location is perfect—tucked away in a peaceful area but still close to the best beaches, restaurants, and cafes in Kuta. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The staff was always ready to help with scooter rentals, local recommendations, and anything else I needed.

Super clean, comfy bed, spacious room, hot shower with very good pressure, great breakfast.

What makes this place stood out for me is how the owner was right there to help me when I came up to him at 9:30PM asking for help. The laundry place lost 2 of my items and an expensive pair of Lululemon shorts. He drove me to the place and waited there until I was finished. Never got my items back but just having him support me and calm me down meant the world to me. He stopped what he was doing and right away tried anything he could to help me. Reminds me that they’re still good people out there....
