Yogi beach bungalows — Hotel in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

The pro’s and the con’s ...||The pro’s .... |It’s on the beach and the location is okay|The breakfast .. Coffee Juice and pancake - Good|The price is okay but you can get cheaper just behind or a nicer place with pool and restaurant on the beach in the area for around the same price.||The con’s ...|1. The guy running the place is arrogant and not helpful. When I booked they said it’s fine if I pay by card. When I arrived He said if I want to pay by card he must add 5% or I must go draw cash. So I tried to draw cash but there were no working ATMs in the area. So I told him there is no ATM’s so I cannot draw cash so I will pay by card and he can add 5 %. Then he said the card machine is not working but he can organize me transport to mushroom beach (+-5 km) for around 300000 rupia. (I think he just wanted to make extra money.) Anyway I said it is better if I left the next day so I did. I was there for 2 nights without decent sleep and got serious neck pain.|2. The beds are hard like concrete and so are the pillows so I didn’t sleep very well. I asked him if he can help me with some softer more comfortable pillows and he said he doesn’t have any.|3. AGAIN .... The beds and pillows are hard like a rock so not comfortable at all.|4. There is no fresh water in the shower or hand basin only salt water.|5. No swimming pool|6. No restaurant|7. No kettle for making coffee|8. Internet connection is really bad|9. The guy running the place is arrogant.|I have been traveling for 3 weeks - Bali, Lombok, Nusa Lembongan and this is my third trip to Bali and by far the worst experience I have had traveling, I will not recommend Yogi Beach Bungalows in Nusa Lembongan to anyone. there are far more nicer places to stay with...

My stay at the yogi beach Bungalows was great. Its just 5-7 mins away (via scooter) from the Nusa lembongan port. Staff was nice and helpful.I booked the Superior ocean front room for 2 nights. Rooms were very clean and the AC was working awesomely in such a summer heat. View from the room was awesome. Breakfast was limited and basic but tasted good. The restaurant provide only breakfast, no lunch and dinner facility is there but there are many cute restaurants nearby where many cuisines are available. There are many Marts stores nearby where one can get eatables at very cheap price than the restaurants or hotels. Water in the washroom was very salty that i didn't take bath during my stay. The hotel provide one free water dispenser bottle which i used for face and hair wash as that was not salty. And this issue of salty water is almost in every hotel. Got the scooter on rent from the hotel at the cheap price than offered.

Suggestions- 1)The lights in the room were very dim. They should install atleast one tubelight in the room.

2. After 6 pm it gets so dark out the hotel so the hotel owner should put some lights to make the hotel lively.

Overall i loved the stay in Yogi beach bunglow just the above mentioned suggestions should be take care to make the hotel...

Great beach front location, right next door is the great coffee spot Ombak I could literally wake up, walk out to the beach, have a swim and order a coffee and breakfast and have them in bikinis I stayed in Room 104 and 105, because I loved this place so much, I cancelled part of my Ubud trip and returned to Lembongan. Rooms are high ceiling, spacious, simply decorated and full of natural lights. Toilet could be a bit rusty, and fridge might not work efficiently, lamp could be a bit noisy, but I didn’t really care because of its location. With the price, I couldn’t appreciate more of what I get. The owner Yogi and Wayen are super helpful, together with Ketut, they make you feel it’s home away from home. I also hired scooter from them, did laundry and booked boat ride through them, of course they can book activities too, so it’s like I have a local family to assist me at all time. Tips: I bought my own pillow case, just in case coz it’s after all not a 5star bring a coffee take away cup/mug coz next door Ombak is a zero waste cafe, so can’t do take away unless byo cup, and i didn’t find any kinda “keep cup” sold on the island towel is those small white type , so if you like big towels, byo and leave it with the family when leaving....
