My friend and I ate at Ombak every day while we stayed in Nusa Lembongan. The service is super friendly, the ambiance is relaxed and you get a great view of the ocean while the breeze keeps you cool. The food was unfailingly delicious. We ordered so many things on their menu, and everything was great. Starting with breakfast: The eggs Benny is filling, the eggs are cooked to perfection, and the hollandaise is spot on. The peanut chocolate smoothie bowl is so delicious and packed with energy; the bananas on top are a nice touch. For lunch or dinner: The fish burger is juicy and the fries are great. Try the spicy aioli for a dipping sauce. The nasi campur is a vegetarian's dream as it gives you a variety of delicious flavors and includes protein like tempeh and tofu. My friend tried the pesto pasta and said it was one of the best pesto dishes she's had in her life. I tried some of her food and she has a point. They really load the pesto on there, and it's amazingly fresh. As for the drinks, everything I had was good but my favorite was the seaweed orange smoothie. I know it sounds a bit odd, but don't let that put you off. It's refreshing and not too heavy, so it's a great meal complement. Now for desserts. We had the passion fruit cheesecake - it was very good, tart and sweet and creamy. I can't recommend this place enough. So, so good.

The best spot in Nusa Lembongan! This quickly became a favourite cafe for myself and my partner, so much so that we ended up having almost all of our meals here the entire time we were on the island! They have a good selection of food to choose from, but our favourites were the satay tempeh and the nasi campur, a must try especially if you are vegetarian! For dessert I highly recommend the brownie with ice cream, it’s chewy and fudgy and so delicious. It’s in a great location with a lovely view of the surf breaks and crystal clear waters to swim in right out the front. After your meal you can lounge on the chairs and soak up the sun, or lay in the shade under the beautiful tree that covers the restaurant. Or you can just stop by for a drink and to sit in the chairs as they don’t have a minimum spend, unlike some of the other popular cafes along the beach. The staff are all so beautiful and very accomodating, another reason we came back so many times! Gede really looked after us as did all of the staff, truly the kindest people you will meet. We can’t wait to visit again and to enjoy the great vibes of Ombak!

We came for the sunset and stayed for the vibe. Ombak Cafe has a great beachfront location with a relaxed atmosphere – beanbags in the sand, string lights above, and the sound of the waves just a few meters away. 🍔 The food was a mix. The burgers looked great but didn’t quite deliver – okay taste, but not worth the price. The fries were actually the best part of the dish: crispy and well-seasoned. The toasties were a better choice, especially the one with chicken and pesto – warm, crunchy and full of flavor. 🎬 In the evening they played a movie outdoors, which was a fun touch. We were handed popcorn and could chill under the stars. It started a bit late and the projector setup was a bit messy, but the idea was nice. 🧍‍♂️ Staff were kind, but service was a little slow and unorganized. They seemed unsure of parts of our order, and it took a while to get the food. Communication was a bit tricky too – when we asked for napkins, they brought us a roll of toilet paper. 💡 A cool place to watch the sun go down and enjoy the beach setting – just don’t expect fast service or gourmet food.

I’m at Ombak almost every day. Best Cafe/Restaurant in Lembongan. First things first. The coffee and bread is great, which I think is the foundation of every good cafe. All the food is delicious. They have sth for every taste. Also lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Some of my favorites are the surfer snickers bar 🤤, brownie ball, barrel bowl, grilled veggie sandwich….just look at the menu, it’s all amazing. Oh yeh, by far the best smoothie bowls on the island as well as all the fresh juices. All the staff is super nice, fun and always in a good mood. The restaurant is right on the beach with an incredible view of the surf in the front and mount Agung on the right. So, you can go for a quick dip while you’re waiting on your falafel sandwich and fresh coconut. All the prices are more than reasonable. They really put a lot of effort into keeping their quality up and are very easy I going with any adjustments you might wanna make to your order. They also have a couple of cute bungalows for rent right behind the restaurant in case you wanna hang out for a bit longer. Since Ombak ist a ‘zero waste cafe’ they don’t use any single use items and you won’t find any plastic. If you order take away it will be wrapped in banana leaves. The manager, Nagi, is also one of the two main facilitators and organizers for the Lembongan Plastic/rice exchange Programme. A few times a months locals have the opportunity to get rice for every kilo of plastic they bring. 💪 ♻️ Also, one evening per month they have incredible live music. 🎤 Keep up the good work guys! I appreciate your dedication. Thanks and see you tomorrow...

I would say that rating is between 3 and 4. I came here for the smoothie bowl late afternoon, but sadly they are serving it only until 4pm. So when I arrived I had to decide still order something else or go somewhere else. I stayed but honestly I would better go somewhere else. It wasn’t awful- food was actually good. I had a fish burger and it was delicious, so zero complaints. For the drink I ordered a papaya juice and before I asked if it’s sweet or not, as I know that papaya may vary. They said yes yes sweet. And omg, this was the worst fresh juice I’ve ever had (and I tried a loooooot). It had zero sweetness, but ok. The worst was that is has almost zero taste- it was like 3 drops of papaya into the glass of water. Veeeery bad. And the prices are not the lowest here which is totally ok when the quality is good, but not in this case. The good thing was the live music that evening, so that made my stay better. The last is that taxes are not included in prices so keep in mind.

I think the idea of this place is great as location is unbeatable- no doubts. But I think management should really rethink about the quality, especially of the drinks - if they check reviews, they will see that drinks are the weak part here. Remember when you give up quality towards quantity, it will make you a bad...
