Bali Dream Ubud — Hotel in Pulau Bali

As an Indian tourist, "PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY". I made the same mistake and trusted the reviews and stayed from 19 Nov - 23 Nov (4 nights) booked via Amazon Pay.

Cons of the hotel: Only hotel in the world which doesn't have telephone/intercomm in the room.

You will be given a person Whatsapp for communication. He remains out of hotel most of the time, so you need to go to reception everytime if he is outside.

Breakfast: They do not provide Buffet breakfast. They only have fixed menu (American or Balinese or Indonesian or Continental). It is only provided one time, if you ask 2nd time they will refuse, even for a glass of juice I had to argue.

Receptionist lady "Fabby" misbehaved with me and my wife: At the time of check out, I informed Fabby to get the bags picked up from our room as I had a back problem, after waiting for 1 hour from 12 pm to 1 pm, we had to bring the luggages by myself.

At the reception I asked for a glass of water, which "Fabby arrogantly replied that we dont provide water as you checked out. I asked didn't you even have a glass of water, she shouted NO.

This is not a behaviour we tourist expect from a multi-chain hotels like Bali Dream. Fabby also ignored our request at breakfast on 21 Nov morning.

She doesn't have basic manners like to provide a glass of water.

This property is not on main road, its on a narrow lane where car aren't allowed. You have to go 300-400 meters everytime for coming on road.

This hotel is around 1-1.2 kms from Ubud Palace(main market). All the Indian restro like Queens, Bollywood Dream are located their.

So please book hotel nearby main market and avoid this pathetic property which charges you a lot and...

Pros: Beautiful landscapes, quiet, GREAT sushi place around the corner from hotel. ||||Cons: Smelly pool towels, not enough for our family so were given bath towels||Only 6 sun beds for n total for 2 large pools||Food was okay||||1st villa - ||Mouldy drinking water taps||Power points hanging out||No plugs for bath tub||No gate to the villa property, yet all other villas have gates||No bathroom bench or surface to pit any toiletries||Fridge wobbly, my husband had to put a box under it so it was stable ||Towels are old and smell||Balustrade on stairs is VERY loose||Doors do not lock properly||Mould in the fridge||No dining table||1 x 2 seater chair expected for a family to use||Kitchen cupboards falling apart||Drawers do not close properly ||||Move rooms due to these issues....||A down grade, as said by manager himself but no mention of reimbursement for price difference.||||Pros: ......||||Cons:||Shower handle doesn’t sit on the holder unless you want it to spray straight on the floor so you must hold it to shower||Drainage for shower/bath combo does not work properly so all water comes back up the drain and floods the bathroom||Bugs in one of my kids beds ||Sticky tape holding part of bathroom room together||Toilet not even attached to the floor, floor bathroom when flushed.||Squashed bug(?) in our bed with huge blood stains and eggs.||Dark and smelly||||This hotel is an absolute joke. It needs to be shut down and completely renovated....
