I had driven by Green Rabbit and decided to try it out. Best decision. The staff is really friendly and the owner is really sweet and knowledgeable. She came over to us to explain what the filling was (and how they make it) inside one of the cookies they sell: Dulce de leche
I can tell/feel that she really cares.
The interior and exterior are beautiful and the whole place just comes together wonderfully. It’s colorful without being too much. My friend and I were immediately awed. There was live music during our visit. I found that it really matched the tone and intention of the place. We sat on the balcony and then we chose to go inside. The temperature was comfortable for us.
My friend had a falafel bowl. I had their pumpkin chowder, potato mushroom pie, tiramisu and a detox juice. We both enjoyed our food and the ambiance. The pumpkin chowder O M G. My friend tried it and the expression she made, only further solidified that this was a great soup!
Afterwards, we were able to have an honest conversation with the owner about our experience. They were really keen to listen and learn to see if there was room for improvement.
As for the cost, the prices are typically reasonable for the area and the portions are good. I spent 210k for my meal, but it could have easily been less. I just couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat hahaha So, I took the potato pie home to have for lunch tomorrow.
I’m giving the place 5 stars because I really enjoyed my experience.
I recommend visiting Green Rabbit. I didn’t know why this place got 4.5 stars, but after reading the reviews, I gained more respect for the management. They are attentive and responsive with the intention to improve on their service and I really admire that in any...
Read moreWasn't impressed by the food at all. Could be much much better. I ordered a ceasar salad, plain, which is practically just lettuce, croutons, parmesan and dressing. The dressing has weak tasted. Way too boring. Potato mushroom damplings also had not taste. Sour cream had no taste.
When I came, I went to the second floor. There was a waitress who decided to ignore my existence. I was waiting for 10 min until she realised I'm sitting there and only because I went downstairs to attract attention.
You need to push a button to order. Which is not on the table. You need to stand up, get back to the door, push it and go back to your sit. Call me lazy, but I want to relax.
Loved the pricing, very reasonable. Taxes included, which is very rare. Atmosphere is nice also.
Hope I won't get food poisoning, cos I just read some reviews 🤞
And just for you to know: you not allowed to charge extra if payment made from LOCAL bank card. I said that on cashier, but they...
Read moreIt's necessary to frame and add context to reviews. The Green Rabbit is convenient on our routine trips when out and about. The aroma of the fresh bread being baked is alluring. They have cheese cake and chocolate cake by the slice. They make their own fresh teas in various flavors. To top off the experience, their staff is the winner here.
So you're thinking why only 4 stars? There is a balance when giving reviews. Three stars is an average place. McDonald's is nothing special and will at most be 3 stars - it's the same now matter where you go for the most part. The Green Rabbit is unique. Their tea refreshing after a grocery run, and admittedly we have yet to "dine" here. This is not a "value" place in relation to other surrounding places, but is worth stopping by. Green Rabbit is above average and we enjoyed our visit. You won't be...
