Quiet, well appointed hotel ideally located for visiting Jerusalem. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, efficient A/C, good sized room with mini-fridge, black out curtains on the windows, daily servicing of rooms (except on Shabbat), comfortable lobby area and delightful courtyard festooned with flowers. We didn’t take breakfast, but it seemed popular.||I had contacted the hotel in advance to confirm we wanted twin bed rather than a double. Speedy, friendly response and they duly obliged. We were assigned Room 301A which was spacious, had a shower separate to the toilet/sink which was ideal for the two of us getting ready in the morning, and great views across Mea She’arim.||The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest light rail stop, but walking to the Old City only takes 20 mins anyway (plus 20+ mins for photo stops and browsing in shop windows!) It is also close to a very reasonably priced supermarket with one especially friendly cashier, in the same square as the light rail stop, opposite the liquor/wine store...
Read moreA hotel catered for the orthodox Jewish. I stayed there for free with a trip so can't comment on price but the food was very simple and basic kosher stuff, I think you can buy much better meals in the restaurants in the machane yehuda market(though I don't like the market because its noisy and with many tourists traps). The stuff is nice and helpful and the small "garden" to sit in outside is nice. View from rooms is boring. The light rail station is very close to the hotel which is good and in the other side is orthodox neighborhood. Biggest downside is the small rooms that look really old. The toilet and bathtub were fine for us without major issues. They do serve only shampoo and conditioner mixed together in one bottle and I'd prefer to see 2 separate shampoo and conditioner but if its important for you, you could always buy small bottles in the...
Read morePrima Palace is centrally located with easy access to the center of the city , light rail, and Old city of Jerusalem. The hotel is kept spotless, which was a pleasure. Delicious breakfast daily, offering nice variety. We ordered the Sabbath meals, they were served buffet style. Food was delicious, plentiful, and a variety of dishes available. As a side note - the rooms are on the smaller end. I upgraded one level above the smallest room, it was fine for my needs (I was alone), but may be tight for two people||Staff was helpful and friendly, and corrected a situation immediately when drawn to their attention. A special mention goes to Igor - he is on the security staff. He went above and beyond his duties to assist us. ||The hotel will be my go-to location when I return. I had a very positive experience...
