My tip is avoid the owner he is very indigestible. When I arrived today at 16:50 the restaurant was empty with zero customers. As soon as I started to lock my scooter on the side of the building (not in front), one of the owners with blue kipa and glasses told me that I could not tie there because the sidewalk must be free " it's a very busy sidewalk ". Besides he not being the proprietor of the sidewalk I kindly asked where I should park because I was going to eat on his place. He simple said "I don't know" and continue talking on his phone. Then I asked again and he started to move some chairs on a corner beside a starway, he just pointed while continue talking on the phone. I attached on it besides being a passage. A part from been very indelicate he just wanted to express his inflated ego probably caused by some frustration over his childhood. After this welcome instroduction I almost decided to go away but no. I sitted eat the burguer and was simple ok. Attached pictures of my scooter, the very busy sidewalk and restaurant.

If you are ever walking around the shuk in Jerusalem in machane Yehuda or looking for a great place to eat with genuinely kind people you must try this place called CRAVE. My sister and I walked in and got a huge smile from bartender / manager (looked like) named Simcha. Always ready to engage in customers’ needs. Everyone here works so hard so seriously it’s really what service is all about ! Thank you to Shalob for taking our order so patiently and huge thank you to Victoria who makes the best food she’s really the chef in the house (for 9 years she told me !) and lastly but most importantly I’d like to give a huge thanks to Mâcha la who seemed to be looking out for everyone’s best interest :) delicious Mandel burger and out of this world truffle fries and you must taste the ALEXANDER beer here (sweet and strong just like I like it ) Thank you to the entire Crave team !

With so much hype surrounding Crave, I had to see if it was really worth it. Let me tell you, IT IS. It's really good and as someone who eats out at regular restaurants (be they Kosher or not) it's as good as any non Kosher eatery. The place is tiny, so try and either get there early or make a reservation or something. If you have to wait, make sure you're not too hungry. I tried Kosher bacon (weird, but great) and the cheeseburger sliders. I never thought I'd really like them as vegan cheese was gross, I thought, but these were like real cheeseburgers. Full of flavour and you just want more." Good service here and reasonably priced. It's loud inside and squashed, but the food is worth everything. Definitely give it a go when in Jerusalem.

Lovely hip place in the neighbourhood of Mahane Yehuda market. Styled as an American fast food bar they serve well thought-out dishes ranging from tapas to burgers for quite reasonable prices. Before ordering their "alka-seltzer" lemonade bear in mind that apart of being really delicious, it is also extremely sour ;-). Very friendly staff with excellent English, kitchen is quite fast and open so you can see from the bar as your meal is being prepared. Classic burger is truly as classic as it goes, tortillas were also great. Their Love-IPA is really nice hoppy and floral beer. If you want to have a little break from kosher Israeli cuisine, this is the place to go without doing international fast food chains.

Unquestionably THE best burger and beer joint in Jerusalem... And it's kosher! Ingredients are everything and this place serves proper minced steak, perfectly grilled to order topped with vegan cheddar, lamb crispy facon and a host of other hard to find kosher goodies.... For the spicy lover you can even have kimchi on it. Service is friendly and attentive. Despite it being a cool bustling & busy atmosphere it is run like a family business that genuinely cares for it's diners. Pricing is on par with other restaurants that try to serve this kind of food. The difference is this place really uses high end ingredients so it's value in every tasty bite. Full marks!

This place was so nice. It was recommended by a local. They have very cool, different, creative food which I loved and the music was spot on. There was a 35 min wait however we sat down at the bar with no wait at all. I got the Bahn Mi Tacos and OMG this was SO GOOD and so creative being that Bahn Mi is not something I would expect in a taco. Best meal I’ve had in Jerusalem by far. My family got the sliders with truffle fries and loved them. The fries were super crispy (which had been lacking on our trip because other restaurants seem to make them soggy). The brisket tacos were amazing as well. I loved everything. HIGHLY recommend it.
