Oh my God! The food is just mind-blowing. As an observant Jew getting, to finally have a Ruben sandwich is just a "bucket list" item of joy. For a moment, it just tasted like heaven.
The nachos and dip are fantastic and amazing, but you got to eat them quick cuz otherwise everybody else eats it all up before you get to it. So don't miss out!
Before Corona hit I had the privilege of actually sitting in the restaurant and it was packed and busy. I would recommend going there in hours that are less packed. The food was still amazing even when they were being rushed, but clearly it was just a lot on the wait staff. Still they're all really helpful really nice so I didn't regret going there.
During Corona we got to order straight to our house several times and actually every single time that there was an order option available and we didn't order there was a sense of... regret. All the food is just such a delight and that's an amazing treat.
Now I'm trying to remember all the various things I've had from there, everything we've ordered or eaten at the restaurant and it just dissolves in my mind to a fog of mouth watering blurry joy that makes me want to go there again!
In short I recommend going there as a small party so you're having easier time finding a seat I don't think you'll regret it just go there with some patience and...

Crave at Machane Yehuda is a revelationโan electrifying fusion of American, Mexican, and Korean flavors, delivered with that top-notch kosher touch . Every visit surprises me anew, whether Iโm diving into their sousโvide brisket endsโsweet, fatty, melt-in-your-mouth perfectionโ or sinking my teeth into a perfectly smashed burger thatโs juicy right down to the last bite .
The vibe is exactly what you want: loud in the best way, alive with music, friendly banter, and energy that only the shuk can bring . Staff are enthusiastic aficionados, always ready with recommendationsโplus they cook with attention, even making โbaconโ so good it doesnโt feel fake .
Yes, a full evening here can be a bit pricier than typical street food, but for the quality of ingredients, inventive dishes, and buzzing atmosphere, itโs worth every shekel . Indoor seating is functional, but I prefer the outdoor tablesโgreat for soaking in the market lights and sounds.
Overall, Crave delivers in spades: bold flavors, a festive vibe, and a real shake-up of kosher street food. Itโs become my goโto spot for a lively, indulgent meal in Jerusalem. Highly...

The vibe and personality of is ever present, from the decor to the music, the food and the off menu specials. The staff is incredible, from front of house to wait staff. Wait the ten minutes for an indoor seat if you want the full show. Grab a seat at the bar and watch the kitchen in motion. Ask the sous chef what she recommends, and you may just end up testing out next month's big hit. And don't forget to thank you waiters because there is no tipping allowed.
The food here is simply incredible. Don't expect oversized portions of cheap street food. This is a culinary experience, full of layers of texture and flavor. Go with three friends, and order different things. You will want to taste everything.
This is one of the only places I always recommend ordering outside your comfort zone. Try something new. Get the dish complete with four ingredients you have never tasted. Chef Todd knows his stuff.
For some extra fun, come after 11pm when the late night menu kicks in. There is some crazy amazing stuff on there. And it changes so regularly, you always...
