Oh my God! The food is just mind-blowing. As an observant Jew getting, to finally have a Ruben sandwich is just a "bucket list" item of joy. For a moment, it just tasted like heaven.

The nachos and dip are fantastic and amazing, but you got to eat them quick cuz otherwise everybody else eats it all up before you get to it. So don't miss out!

Before Corona hit I had the privilege of actually sitting in the restaurant and it was packed and busy. I would recommend going there in hours that are less packed. The food was still amazing even when they were being rushed, but clearly it was just a lot on the wait staff. Still they're all really helpful really nice so I didn't regret going there.

During Corona we got to order straight to our house several times and actually every single time that there was an order option available and we didn't order there was a sense of... regret. All the food is just such a delight and that's an amazing treat.

Now I'm trying to remember all the various things I've had from there, everything we've ordered or eaten at the restaurant and it just dissolves in my mind to a fog of mouth watering blurry joy that makes me want to go there again!

In short I recommend going there as a small party so you're having easier time finding a seat I don't think you'll regret it just go there with some patience and...

Crave Gourmet Street Food โ€“ A Culinary Powerhouse in the Shuk

Crave at Machane Yehuda is a revelationโ€”an electrifying fusion of American, Mexican, and Korean flavors, delivered with that top-notch kosher touch . Every visit surprises me anew, whether Iโ€™m diving into their sousโ€‘vide brisket endsโ€”sweet, fatty, melt-in-your-mouth perfectionโ€” or sinking my teeth into a perfectly smashed burger thatโ€™s juicy right down to the last bite .

The vibe is exactly what you want: loud in the best way, alive with music, friendly banter, and energy that only the shuk can bring . Staff are enthusiastic aficionados, always ready with recommendationsโ€”plus they cook with attention, even making โ€œbaconโ€ so good it doesnโ€™t feel fake .

Yes, a full evening here can be a bit pricier than typical street food, but for the quality of ingredients, inventive dishes, and buzzing atmosphere, itโ€™s worth every shekel . Indoor seating is functional, but I prefer the outdoor tablesโ€”great for soaking in the market lights and sounds.

Overall, Crave delivers in spades: bold flavors, a festive vibe, and a real shake-up of kosher street food. Itโ€™s become my goโ€‘to spot for a lively, indulgent meal in Jerusalem. Highly...

The most creative kosher dining experience in the world, hands down.

The vibe and personality of is ever present, from the decor to the music, the food and the off menu specials. The staff is incredible, from front of house to wait staff. Wait the ten minutes for an indoor seat if you want the full show. Grab a seat at the bar and watch the kitchen in motion. Ask the sous chef what she recommends, and you may just end up testing out next month's big hit. And don't forget to thank you waiters because there is no tipping allowed.

The food here is simply incredible. Don't expect oversized portions of cheap street food. This is a culinary experience, full of layers of texture and flavor. Go with three friends, and order different things. You will want to taste everything.

This is one of the only places I always recommend ordering outside your comfort zone. Try something new. Get the dish complete with four ingredients you have never tasted. Chef Todd knows his stuff.

For some extra fun, come after 11pm when the late night menu kicks in. There is some crazy amazing stuff on there. And it changes so regularly, you always...

My tip is avoid the owner he is very indigestible. When I arrived today at 16:50 the restaurant was empty with zero customers. As soon as I started to lock my scooter on the side of the building (not in front), one of the owners with blue kipa and glasses told me that I could not tie there because the sidewalk must be free " it's a very busy sidewalk ". Besides he not being the proprietor of the sidewalk I kindly asked where I should park because I was going to eat on his place. He simple said "I don't know" and continue talking on his phone. Then I asked again and he started to move some chairs on a corner beside a starway, he just pointed while continue talking on the phone. I attached on it besides being a passage. A part from been very indelicate he just wanted to express his inflated ego probably caused by some frustration over his childhood. After this welcome instroduction I almost decided to go away but no. I sitted eat the burguer and was simple ok. Attached pictures of my scooter, the very busy sidewalk and restaurant.

If you are ever walking around the shuk in Jerusalem in machane Yehuda or looking for a great place to eat with genuinely kind people you must try this place called CRAVE. My sister and I walked in and got a huge smile from bartender / manager (looked like) named Simcha. Always ready to engage in customersโ€™ needs. Everyone here works so hard so seriously itโ€™s really what service is all about ! Thank you to Shalob for taking our order so patiently and huge thank you to Victoria who makes the best food sheโ€™s really the chef in the house (for 9 years she told me !) and lastly but most importantly Iโ€™d like to give a huge thanks to Mรขcha la who seemed to be looking out for everyoneโ€™s best interest :) delicious Mandel burger and out of this world truffle fries and you must taste the ALEXANDER beer here (sweet and strong just like I like it ) Thank you to the entire Crave team !

With so much hype surrounding Crave, I had to see if it was really worth it. Let me tell you, IT IS. It's really good and as someone who eats out at regular restaurants (be they Kosher or not) it's as good as any non Kosher eatery. The place is tiny, so try and either get there early or make a reservation or something. If you have to wait, make sure you're not too hungry. I tried Kosher bacon (weird, but great) and the cheeseburger sliders. I never thought I'd really like them as vegan cheese was gross, I thought, but these were like real cheeseburgers. Full of flavour and you just want more." Good service here and reasonably priced. It's loud inside and squashed, but the food is worth everything. Definitely give it a go when in Jerusalem.
