I had such a lovely stay here! My apartment/room was extremely clean and I love all the adorable decorative touches throughout the entire place. Everything I looked I found myself taking a picture of another unique touch. My apartment had a fully-stocked kitchen and a great amount of space for me (it also would have been perfect for 2 people). I arrived after the front desk had closed (I had a late flight) and it was very easy to get inside and check-in with the information they sent me. I met the staff in the morning and they were very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant just below Rena's house and they have good food and coffee. I tried the lebane shakshuka and it was delicious! You get 10% off at that restaurant if you are staying at Rena's house. There is also a place called the Uganda Bar and it was a very popular spot. Though there were many people, I didn't find the noise to be too much in my room (the double windows really help with any street noise). You can get 2-for-1 drinks at that place because of staying at Rena's house. I walked to a 24-hour supermarket easily and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and getting a glimpse of local life...
Read moreWe found Rena’s House when searching for lodging in Tel Aviv. We wanted to have a couple of days to explore before our 11 day Israel tour. The reviews on line sounded great so we gave it a try. We were very satisfied with our stay! The location is close to several good eating spots and the rooms are very spacious with all the amenities you would need. The walk to the beach is about 20 minutes and there are good restaurants with views of sea. As described, the rooms have no TV and we did not miss one. The rooms offer free WiFi which worked perfectly and allowed us to stay in tune with the world. The staff is friendly and attentive. They gave us good suggestions for restaurants and for transportation around Tel Aviv. They even helped us make arrangements for a large taxi to take our family of 4 adults to Jerusalem with all our luggage. If you like what you read in the reviews, you will definitely like this unique hotel! We would not hesitate to...
Read moreWe wanted to stay in this neighborhood to be near our daughter, living in Tel Aviv. Rena's House is an excellent value. Note that this is more like an airbnb than a hotel (eg, like most apartments in this area, you have to pre-heat the hot water before you take a shower, but only takes about 10 minutes). But it is very clean and comfortable. We stayed two different times - once in a large triple that was very large and comfortable. Only negative was that the shower was getting old and needed some attention. The second stay was in a double, which was also very spacious and had a better shower.||The neighborhood is very young, hip and "cool" vibe. Different from being at the Jaffa or beach area, but fun and interesting.||If you are looking for the ultimate "bang for the buck" and are interested in this part of Tel Aviv,...
