I don’t know what all the hype is about. Artsy hotel in a decent location with friendly staff but be ready for late night noise from the restaurants and clubs beneath as the windows don’t close properly. The view out the window was quite ugly so we keep the curtains drawn. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen functioned but the bathroom and showers were ugly. Clean overall but not maintained with care. The record player was a joke, every record we played skipped like crazy out a speaker worse than your 80’s telephone. The rental bikes are fixed gear clunkers; I couldn’t even take one for a test ride as the chain was broken. It works as a place to stay but don’t get sold on the amenities. I would not stay here again.

Don't touch this place, they misled us on a booking and didn't inform us there are major underground transport networks being built directly adjacent to the hotel with planned works going on until 2024. The noise was unbearable at all hours of the night! Also there is an open air bar directly under the entrance of hotel that plays loud music until the early hours. We requested to move rooms and they point blank refused. Unacceptable.

Right in the centre of florentin, pretty much on top of Romano's house and the Teder, a 5 min. walk from Levinski market, is Rena's House. The room was really large, very well equipped and clean. This was our first time staying, and would definitely not be our last. Highly recommended

I had such a lovely stay here! My apartment/room was extremely clean and I love all the adorable decorative touches throughout the entire place. Everything I looked I found myself taking a picture of another unique touch. My apartment had a fully-stocked kitchen and a great amount of space for me (it also would have been perfect for 2 people). I arrived after the front desk had closed (I had a late flight) and it was very easy to get inside and check-in with the information they sent me. I met the staff in the morning and they were very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant just below Rena's house and they have good food and coffee. I tried the lebane shakshuka and it was delicious! You get 10% off at that restaurant if you are staying at Rena's house. There is also a place called the Uganda Bar and it was a very popular spot. Though there were many people, I didn't find the noise to be too much in my room (the double windows really help with any street noise). You can get 2-for-1 drinks at that place because of staying at Rena's house. I walked to a 24-hour supermarket easily and enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and getting a glimpse of local life...

We found Rena’s House when searching for lodging in Tel Aviv. We wanted to have a couple of days to explore before our 11 day Israel tour. The reviews on line sounded great so we gave it a try. We were very satisfied with our stay! The location is close to several good eating spots and the rooms are very spacious with all the amenities you would need. The walk to the beach is about 20 minutes and there are good restaurants with views of sea. As described, the rooms have no TV and we did not miss one. The rooms offer free WiFi which worked perfectly and allowed us to stay in tune with the world. The staff is friendly and attentive. They gave us good suggestions for restaurants and for transportation around Tel Aviv. They even helped us make arrangements for a large taxi to take our family of 4 adults to Jerusalem with all our luggage. If you like what you read in the reviews, you will definitely like this unique hotel! We would not hesitate to...

We wanted to stay in this neighborhood to be near our daughter, living in Tel Aviv. Rena's House is an excellent value. Note that this is more like an airbnb than a hotel (eg, like most apartments in this area, you have to pre-heat the hot water before you take a shower, but only takes about 10 minutes). But it is very clean and comfortable. We stayed two different times - once in a large triple that was very large and comfortable. Only negative was that the shower was getting old and needed some attention. The second stay was in a double, which was also very spacious and had a better shower.||The neighborhood is very young, hip and "cool" vibe. Different from being at the Jaffa or beach area, but fun and interesting.||If you are looking for the ultimate "bang for the buck" and are interested in this part of Tel Aviv,...
