Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance and Theatre — Attraction in Tel-Aviv

A big disappointment! I purchased tickets on site to a show. The tickets were for the 2nd row and cost more . On the day of the show when I picked up the tickets, I saw that the tickets were on the 7th row. When I commented that they had made a mistake and showed my confirmation, they said there was nothing they could do and I should phone the following day and complain. I did, out of curiosity and principle! They said they would return my phone in 24 hours. Nobody had phoned back! I will never again visit this place! I will never recommend it to friends or visitors from abroad. This is sheer cheating...

A hidden jem of Southern TLV, a sweet spot of the Neve Tsedek borrough, set in its very artful heart. Definitely worth visiting from many aspects and preferably attending a wide array of the dancing performances staged within this compound. The site features a secludedly located café-brasserie, where you can enjoy a light meal or a beer by the Turkish style fountain facing a recently refurbished center's façade. There is a small well tended garden and the tickets for the shows can be purchased...

the center itself is probably wonderful, I think it's amazing and important to have places that celebrate the art of dance!

but I unfortunately really didn't enjoy the show I went to - it was radical contemporary dance " and I personally wasn't able to appreciate it at all. the dancers were talented but the musical accompaniment was harsh and noisy and I kept waiting for the music to change/ couldn't wait for it all to end because of that :/ hopefully the next show will...
