I'll start with the little good that there is to say about this hotel:|-It is cheap, pretty central and the owner wasn't unfriendly..||For the rest;|We payed 42 euros and so it was clear that the standard wouldn't be high and we couldn't expect a beautiful place.|Our room and the whole B&B is pretty basic and cold, it feels like the owner couple does not make a huge effort to make this place cozy and nice, but ok you get what you pay for.||What we really didn't like was the dirty shared bathroom, that's just a no go.|If you run a B&B you keep it nice and clean so that your guests feel comfortable even if it is not a high standard place. This bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while, dust, stains, hairs on the floor, definitely not a place where one feels comfortable taking care of his or her hygiene.||What really let to this bad review was the night. There was literally an army of mosquitos in that room that kept biting us making it impossible to sleep.|I counted 16 mosquitos that I killed that night but they just kept coming.|This morning my face looked like I had some weird disease, being covered with mosquito bites.||Obviously we are in Italy and there are mosquitos but if you run a B&B you please take care that they don't come in, install a net at the window or over the bed or something.||I'm sorry but I cannot recommend this place to anyone..||Reading some previous reviews I saw that whenever the place got a bad review the owner lady just commented on it saying it is a false review by the concurrence.||That is a ridiculous way to handle criticism and I can assure you that I'm not concurrence but just a...
Read moreI have just returned home a few hours ago from a Casa di Laura. |I haven’t ever stayed in a bnb before so was sceptical before arriving. |However I didn’t have to worry at all, upon arriving the hosts were so kind. My bags were taken, my coffee and water was served and I was given so much help by the couple regarding the local area, transportation, attractions and most of all I felt so very welcome in their home. |The typical Sicilian breakfast was served and the hosts were always asking if I needed help. |My transport to return to the airport did not arrive and thanks to the generosity of the hosts they were even good enough to take me to the airport together. |I’ve had such a wonderful stay in their bnb that I want to return with my kids soon. |I’ve seen the family room as I did tell them I’d like to go back, pretty room and large sizes. |Thanks once again for making my holiday perfect and stress...
Read moreWe stayed here for a week on a couple's vacation. The hostel was lovely and as described on Hostelworld. We were pleased when we arrived as we were told we would be sharing a bathroom, but our room actually had private facilities which was great! The room was big and clean, furniture good and the bed comfy.||The owners were very friendly, and helpful with advising us about trips and weather etc.||Breakfasts in the morning were a lot more substantial than expected, including lots of pastry, breads and fruit, meaning we saved a lot of money this way (normally we would go out for breakfast but the food here was very good).||We are English speaking, and managed to chat to the owners fine through a combination of Spanish and google translate - they were very friendly and willing to help us...
