I Quattro Pozzi Country House — Hotel in La Morra

We stayed two nights in this very new guesthouse in a lovely spot just outside La Morra (5-10 minute walk uphill to the town center). The property is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good, and the staff member who helped us (the same person handled everything from check-in to breakfast while we were there!) was kind and clearly trying to provide thoughtful service, even as we watched other guests act rudely toward him when things weren't exactly to their liking.

I have a few suggestions to make things even better. First, the parking lot across the street is both a gravel lot and currently under construction. We needed to wait for someone to move a tractor before we could park, and then our large bags were difficult to carry over the gravel to the hotel entrance. I assume the construction will finish before long, but I recommend paving the parking lot. Also, I felt the pricing was a little high for what the property offered.

What a wonderful place! Modern, fresh, delicate, colorful with a friendly hostess. Nice breakfast! Nice rooms with matching colors all the way through. Wonderful bed. Gorgeous pool area, clean, easy, open. Perfect! We were concerned about the neighbors' dogs that welcomed us loud and clear, but they calmed down and Quattro Pozzi is a very very nice place to stay!
