CASELLO68 — Hotel in Levanto

Had the pleasure of spending two nights at Casello 68. The communication with Valentina was great, and she was very flexible in regards to arrival/departure. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the room, and both the room and bathroom were very modern and fresh.

We took advantage of the balcony, as we ate breakfast there both days and also enjoyed the evening sun there with some bubbles before heading off to dinner in the Cinque Terre.

There are four bikes for lent, so we borrowed them for biking to the train station and also biked the scenic route to Bonassola for a beach day (recommended by Valentina). The location is a great base for travelling to the Cinque Terre, without having to stay in the middle of the crowded tourist areas.

We stayed 4 nights here to visit Cinque Terre and to surf the first autumn waves in Levanto. And we couldn’t choose a better accommodation!! |Valentina and her husband created a beautiful gem with this B&B! Modern, light and chic interieur with lovely little details, spotless clean (daily cleaning), great shower and comfy bed, nice balcony, located calm but central just 5 minutes away from the ocean. |We saved a lot of money as we got a local parking card and could park for free (otherwise you have to pay 2,20€/hour!). |Our highlight was the local, fresh breakfast every morning at our doorstep and the great cappuccino machine in the room. We booked a two night stay at Caselo through booking.com and were planning to arrive at 8pm to check in. However, we got held up and were not able to arrive until 10pm. We messaged the host about this. She freaked out on us about arrive late and said we could not come at that time. She then proceeded to cancel our whole two night reservation because we were arrive late AND kept our money. Would not recommend staying here unless you’re okay with getting scammed. Also, was so sad on how she treated us in her messages. Went right to cancelling our room with no sympathy that we had nowhere to stay....
