We spent three nights in the hotel and two of them (first and third) were completely sleepless because of the noise coming from the tower bar which you can see from each balcony in the hotel.. When we tried to get help in the middle of the night (2/3am) we only heard from the reception that „it is not their property so they do not care”. They do not care that their neighbours do not obey rules (curfew after 11pm). Nightmare after a long day of sightseeing… On the second day the terrace was closed due to another wedding on top but this time it ended around midnight. If you ask anything - receptionists become rude as if you offended them (there are exceptions like the lady who helped us with Capri excursion). You will never get what you see in pictures. Great job by a hotel photographer who made these ugly hotel rooms look great. In reality it looks more like an old hospital that needs to be renovated. You find mold in the bathroom, ugly walls (pls see my pictures). If you want to get food from the restaurant on the 8th floor - please don’t. They serve the worst &most expensive pizza we have eaten in Italy- burnt pizza dough and passata from the bottle on top… The pool is fine however the pictures make it look a lot bigger. If 4 people jump in it gets crowded.. and the opening hours! It is only open till 6pm!!!

I cannot rave about this place enough! I booked my hotel here months ago for a wedding, and it far exceeded my expectations. Leading up to my stay, the staff were in constant communication with me, any time of day/night, and even helped book my car from the Naples airport to their hotel, and vice versa. First, let’s discuss the views. Absolutely out of this world. Every day I couldn’t believe this was real. The sunsets and sunrises were breathtaking, and the accommodations were amazing. Our room was cute and clean, and the restaurant upstairs was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us, catered to our needs, and even humored us while we tried to learn Italian. The breakfast buffet was fresh, the coffee was incredible, and I’m still dreaming of their limoncello spritzes. We even ate in their restaurant for the culinary experience, and I’ve never had a dinner like that in my life. Everything was presented so beautifully, and things I never thought I would eat were just outstanding. The hotel is rich with Italian history, and located in the perfect spot to get to the beach or walk to the town. I cannot wait to come back with my husband. 5 ⭐️

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. It was our first time visiting the Amalfi coast. It was a last minute booking so I wasn’t really sure if this was a good or bad location along Amalfi. This hotel is in Maiori, a few miles east of Positano. Those few miles turned out to be an hour drive given the winding roads along the cliff. We had a rental car, but only advise others to have a car if you feel comfortable navigating very tight roads and turns along the cliff and in town. The location was fine, but we wish we were closer to Positano. The hotel itself had parking which was convenient and the views are very nice from our room and the 8th floor where the breakfast buffet was served. You won’t get the newest rooms in this hotel, but not many hotels in Amalfi are updated. Overall, our stay was fine. My only complaint was we had small gnats flying around in our room and bathroom and the breakfast was only ok. Since it’s a breakfast buffet, the plates of meats, fruits and pastries placed out draws flies so I was cautious about eating certain items.

Amazing Couples September 2023 12 nights

As other reviews have stated, the views are epic which definitely made our stay amazing. In addition to that, it was walking distance to the main streets of Maiori and the ferry docks to venture out to different towns. The rooms were sparse but extremely clean, thanks to our lovely ladies Elena and Luisa (further to my review 3 weeks ago). There were ants outside our room (none inside the room) on the patio which I took care of with boiling hot water then we met our cleaning ladies who sprayed for us and thoroughly cleaned the patio daily, we never saw another ant. Our ladies restocked our amenities daily (tea bags, instant coffee, shampoo (no conditioner), lotion, soap etc.). Yes, the hand towels are similar to large tea towels but that is quite normal in Italy. The white linens were all clean and changed daily. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The patio doors could use some handles but with some creativity, you can easily close them by using the metal shutters strategically. The metal shutters kept the room so dark and quiet. People have complained about the fireworks and noise from the restaurant across the road but we found it quite entertaining. Italy is alive at night, people eat late, some restaurants don’t even open until 8pm so fireworks at midnight is not really that late. We enjoyed listening to the live music (from the restaurant across the street) and the fireworks after someone got married. On one of our first few nights on the 5th floor there was a wedding at our resort so they lit off fireworks right across the road, we have never been so close to fireworks, although shocking, it was absolutely breathtaking. Our first night we were jet lagged and went to sleep early when the fireworks went off all we could hear was a faint “pop, pop” sound. The hotel does host weddings so there were a few occasions over our 12-night stay that the pool and restaurant/bar on the 8th floor did close early around 4 or 5pm. The restaurant on the 5th floor was open and has a few seats outside but we just picked up a drink there and enjoyed it on our lovely balcony. We initially thought the drinks were on the expensive side (12 euros for a gin and tonic) then we realized it was 4 ounces of gin. As for the included breakfast, here is detailed breakdown: Coffees, cappuccino, café au lait, lattes etc. Variety of fresh juices, still and sparkling water Many freshly made sweets, cakes, tarts Yoghurt, granola, dry cereals Cold meats & cheeses Bread (toasters provided) & buns All the necessary condiments, butter, ketchup, mayonnaise, pepper grinders & salt Served hot breakfast, choice of eggs scrambled or fried, bacon, and a fresh fruit plate Breakfast was hardy and generous with an amazing view, a perfect way to start your day. There is a menu available if you want to order something different for a cost as well as Mimosa’s. The hotel also has a shuttle that will take you to near by towns for nominal fee of 15 euros, I think. Overall, we felt very safe there. The staff were all very friendly, genuinely caring, helpful, knowledgeable, and spoke English well, shout outs to: Elena, Luisa, Fabiana, Luca and all the other serving staff (unfortunately, I don’t know all their names). Thank you for making our holiday...

I have travelled a lot in my life, seen good and not so good hotels. Of course, you always have to see everything in the context of the price. 1400€ for 3 nights in the 2nd best room category also means a certain expectation for me. I don't even want to go into the little things that didn't work here: Lukewarm coffee, weak breakfast or the shower door not closing. But I would like to tell you about two things that I really don't understand: 1) When we arrived, my wife and I still had to wait a little until the rooms were ready, we looked at the menu of the restaurant and decided to eat there on the first evening. When asked if we needed to make a reservation, the waiter said yes, but we were guests of the hotel, so we went to our rooms first. Just to understand, the roof terrace is hundreds of square metres big with a lot of tables. When we returned at 7pm, we were told that the restaurant was fully booked and that nothing could be done for the remaining days of our stay! We were shocked. Even when we asked again at the reception, we got the same answer. With all due respect, it is unbelievable! 1400€ for 3 nights with an oversized roof terrace and no space in the restaurant??? The people in charge should really think if they are doing the right job. Being a host is the soul of this profession. If you don't understand that, there's really nothing to be saved. Even a cheap hotel can usually manage that. 2) Immediately after check-in, we left a big bag for the cleaning of clothes. The day before our check our, still nothing had happened. We had given explicit instructions and asked in writing as well as verbally several times to wash shirts and clothes in such a way that no damage would occur. This was ignored, with the result that various items of clothing were simply destroyed.

With all due respect, dear 2 Torri team. It is not enough just to have a beautiful view. I would be extremely pleased if you would take a moment to think about how you treat your customers and simply be ashamed of your pathetic...

1 star service with 4 star prices. The rooms of this hotel are outdated and cold and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. We asked for a topper and one was provided but it did not help. We had ants in our room as did the couple we were traveling with. I told the front desk and was given a weird attitude about how house keeping left at 3 pm and we should have told them sooner. I had to call the front desk back the next morning and they sent housekeeping up. The ants were gone for about a day. After finding them in the bed we asked if would could leave the hotel two days earlier than planned (giving 24 hours notice prior to departure) and they refused to refund us. The only accommodating thing they did was move us to the 7th floor which has been somewhat renovated and has new mattresses. Housekeeping smokes in the stairwell on the 7th floor so the hallway up there smells like smoke for part of day. Again, this is supposedly a 4 star hotel.

The only redeeming quality of this hotel is the rooftop and the view and it’s the only reason I gave it 2 stars and not 1. The front desk staff were rude for most of our interactions. We will NEVER stay here again. Also some other things to note, they host quite a lot of weddings and events here and the music playing until 10-11pm will be blasting in your room. They don’t advertise it to the guests so it’s just a nice surprise to walk up to the roof for a drink and you step off the elevator to a huge party.

This place over all is a complete rip off and needs a serious makeover including a lesson in...
