Maiori Antica — Hotel in Maiori

Reservation was confirmed on Airbnb. We have arrived there, me, my wife and 4 young children. The owner called to the manager and asked to speak with us at the check in moment. She told us that our order was not confirmed (a lie, as we were confirmed on Airbnb) and that she will not accept us. I begged as it was already evening and my children were hungry and tired. She did not give a damn. So, it you do not wish such a thing to happen to you, find somewhere else... Luckily the manager was kind enough to offer us a room for 4 (instead of the ordered room for 5). The next morning we left, and that owner called and screamed at me that we have not paid... Really???? The payment was successfully charged on Airbnb. That is how horrible the owner is. Luckily that night Atletico Madrid won against Bayern Munich so it turned out not to be the worst experience ever... Stay away unless you enjoy being denied rudely and...

Horrible! The worst experience a family with kids can experience! We have arrived in the evening, 19:00, me, my wife and 4 children, aged 1 to 8. We were there and received a phone call that she cannot accept us. I explained that we have made a reservation that was confirmed on Airbnb, but she refused to even find a solution, even though we were there at the evening, with 4 little kids. I bagged that I cannot find another place for the evening and that she will be creative as my 4 kids are hungry and tired. She didn't give a damn, but the person who managed the place got us a room anyway. We ordered a room for 5 and our order was confirmed. We slept in a room for 4 people and it was pleasant but small. The next day after we left she called us to yell at us that we have not paid. Obviously it is a lie as payments are processed by Airbnb. Terrible experience! Stay away. The host is heartless and will ruin...

I was on a bit of a budget for this trip, but Maiori Antico was a perfect choice. Bed and breakfast. Served in a great lemon grove, breakfast is a simple spread offered by the cook or owner. The glorious private backyard is like heaven. Peaceful. Shaded and quiet it was a lovely spot to eat meditate and relax. There is a roof top spot as well. |The rooms are comfy, efficiently furnished with shower toilet and bidet en suite and a fridge and TV plus WiFi. .
