Ristorante Hotel La Primavera — Hotel in Massa Lubrense

We stayed here for a week and wished we had been able to move this hotel to our second week's location. What a wonderful place. It is family owned and everyone there treated us so well. The speak English and the restaurant was excellent. The view from the terrace while eating dinner is really lovely. The rooms are large and the bathrooms are modern. Most of the rooms have a balcony or private terrace. Our room did not have a view but the patio was very nice and quiet. It is just outside of Sorrento and it is easy to take the local bus to the town or to the train station. The ferries to the Island of Ischia and Capri leave from Sorrento and there are trains to Naples and Pompeii. Positano is a 45 minute local bus ride so it is a just a great location. What a marvelous and fortuitous find! The room was cool, clean and comfortable. The staff, friendly and efficient. The food was exceptionally good and was complemented by the airy terrace, a perfect location from where to watch the sun set over the gulf of Naples.

Massa Lubrense is a great location. Up high, amongst the Lemon orchards and a suitable distance from the busy town of Sorrento, it has a quiet charm all of its own. Also, a small port fro where you can take a boat to nearby Capri.

Das kleine familiengeführte Hotel liegt günstig im Ortskern von Massa Lubrense.||Supermärkte, einige kleine Geschäfte und auch Cafés und Lokale sind bequem zu erreichen. Leider ist es oberhalb vom Meer gelegen und der Weg dorthin ist weit und nur schwer zu finden. ||Das Hotel verfügt über Zimmer unterschiedlicher Qualität, einige haben Balkons oder auch Terrassen mit Meerblick. Pech hat nur, wer ein Zimmer ohne alles erwischt hat!||Mein Zimmer lag ebenerdig zur Seitenstraße, vor dem Fenster ein paar Blumenkübel und ein Paravent als Sichtschutz. Dahinter ein quietschendes eisernes Schiebetor, welches wohl von den Hotelangestellten benutzt wurde.Vorzugsweise spät am Abend oder ganz früh am Morgen. Außerdem befand sich noch ein großes Elektroaggregat in unmittelbarer Nähe. Es läuft meist nur tagsüber mit sehr lautem Brummen, einmal musste ich allerdings am späten Abend darum bitten, es auszuschalten! An Schlaf wäre sonst nicht zu denken gewesen.||Die Lautstärke war überhaupt ein großer Kritikpunkt des Zimmers, die meisten waren wohl modernisiert und haben Doppelfenster und neue Zimmertüren bekommen. Meines hatte eine sehr simple dünne Tür und einfachverglaste Fenster. Man hatte also die Geräusche vom Hotelflur und die vorbeiknatternden Vespas als Geräuschkulisse. Die Zimmer verfügen über Klimaanlage, Bad mit Dusche und Bidet, einen Safe, sowie einen Minifernseher. Leider ohne deutsche Programme, obwohl häufig deutsche Gäste dort untergebracht sind. Der einzige Stuhl im Zimmer hatte eine Plastikfolie über dem Polster. WLAN wird angeboten ist aber sehr langsam.||Das schöne am Hotel ist die Restaurantterrasse auf der man jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang bei leckerem Essen und netter Gesellschaft genießen konnte.
