Excellent location. Two blocks away from the main street but it’s quiet enough to sleep well at night. Check-in and check-out process was seamless with personalized code. Welcome snacks and drinks were a nice gesture. Close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Walking distance from public transportations, if needed. Communication was fast and easy.
Keep in mind: One of the most strict check-in and check-out times I have experienced so keep that in mind. Standard check-in time is 5.00 PM, which is crazy. Luckily, she allowed us to check in at 3.30 PM but it’s not guaranteed for everyone. Check-out time is 10 AM. 5.00 PM to 10 AM is very out of norm for European standards. But, it’s my fault for not checking the times before booking.
Your room could be also on the 3rd floor (Europeans call it the second floor because they don’t count the ground floor) — again, keep that in mind.
Also, this lodging should not be described as a hotel. It’s not a hotel. It doesn’t come with any of the amenities that you would normally find in a hotel. This is more of an Airbnb equivalent. Cleaning is not included. Towel replacements are not included.
The room is also quite small. Smaller than it appears in the pictures. Shower was super tiny (must be 24” X 24”) so if you are claustrophobic, be very careful. Water running down your face in a tight space like that is not fun.
Overall, we liked the location and that was it. I would not...

Read moreIn centro da Viola is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of Olbia, Sardinia. The hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated 19th-century building and offers stylish and comfortable rooms and suites. The location is superb, just a short walk from the city's main attractions, including the port, the cathedral, and the Roman ruins.
The host, Manuela, is incredibly kind and welcoming. She is always available to answer questions and make recommendations. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, including providing snacks and drinks in the fridge.
I would recommend In centro da Viola to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable...
