The best restaurant in Olbia! We spotted it the previous evening, but didn't decide... The atmosphere is a pleasant on a quiet street, next to the Main Street in Olbia. It has beautifully decorated walls and pleasant music. The staff - fly back and forth to be able quickly and qualitatively to serve the customers. To get a seat, you need to get on the waiting list. Next prepare yourself for waiting but be patient. We waited for about an hour. There were people who had prudently walked for about 20/30 minutes and came back to wait for their turn. Ours has also arrived... The menu is on two pages, their recipes. Everything looked delicious. We were also given a wine list from which I was able to taste the special Sardinian variety Cannonau. Everywhere they bring their typical bread, pane karasau, and since the order was delayed a bit more because of the many people, they brought us a second portion of bread 😳! The staff were extremely nice and professional! Thanks! 🙏

We went to this restaurant for our last meal in Olbia last week with high expectations, but we were sadly disappointed. We ordered 3 dishes - homemade pasta with tomato sauce (very basic), Ravioli (very good) and roast pork ( was crunchy but dry as it didn’t come with sauce) and roasted vegetables ( fry too no sauce or gravy) priced differently. The only good dish was the ravioli. We also had a beer and a glass of wine. The bill total came to around €76 which was over price. The service was slow and waiters/waitresses weren’t attentive and ignore us. We were the only table inside and all staff were outside covering outside table. After we ate it was taking a while for them to come to our table to clear or even ask if we had a nice meal. So I decide to us get to the till and ask for the bill there. This restaurant had a really good review for their pasta. They even had queues outside whenever we passed it but I say it’s overrated.

Our new friend recommended this place when we asked her where we can get culurgiones. We ordered Cannonau Blanc and a Vermentino di Sardegna to drink with the Culurgiones. Everything was delicious and the service was perfect. Our service members were super friendly and positive. Our order was taken and brought to our table promptly. They did ask us after finishing the pasta when we were ready for the seada because they wish to request it from the kitchen on demand so it is fresh. We ordered la seada with miele and a glass of mirto black. The dessert was delicious and the mirto was a great local delight. When we returned to our place, another friend recommended the same spot and informed us that this spot is special because their cookware and processes are the traditional tools and steps to make traditional Sardegna cuisine. A great experience and delicious meal.

The place itself is nicely decorated and the menu is nice too. But... we had to wait for 40 minutes to get a table (which we were ok with at first), and then it took 45 minutes more for the food to arrive, which was really annoying. We ordered each 300 grams of steak (6.5 euro per 100 gr.), and we made sure with the waiter that it's indeed 300 gr. since he told us they don't have smaller cuts (250 for example). We barely ate our fatty steaks and then asked for the check. Instead of 65 euros they charged us 88 euros (for larger steak portions which we did not ask for). After asking one of the managers why there's been a big mistake with our check the owner showed up angry to our table. She began yelling and using hand gestures in Italian (we only understood that she said that it doesn't matter because we ate it already). After we explained kindly that it's not our fault that her waiter made a mistake that costs us 20 euros more she yelled at us to just leave. Almost the whole restaurant crew stood around our table, and tried to convince us that it's a small mistake that we should pay for. From where we come from, they should have just said they were sorry for the mistake and fix our check. We left 65 euros for what we actually...

Worst service I have gotten in a very long time! Ordered a salad to share, asked for plates, didn’t get any. Next time I ordered again, same thing. Did this 2 more times until they brought us some plates. Asked for a bottle of water, same thing, had to ask 3 times and the last time I got up and had to ask for it again. Why do I need to get up at a restaurant to order a simple bottle of water? Same thing with the bill, asked 3 times, no response, even though the girls seemed bored, playing with their hair and talking. Still no response.

When I spoke to the owner, he asked us if everything was ok, to which we said it was not, then we proceeded to elaborate. He scoffed and laughed and asked what do we proposed (is it my job to come up with ideas on how to treat your clients? I doubt it). I asked for a discount, to which he said was ridiculous, and after an aggressive responsive behaviour, he said the discount was only 7 euros on a bill of almost 120 euros.

All I wanted was some acknowledgment of their mistakes, but since it apparently it was so much to ask for, then I get this treatment.

Note that the restaurant was not full.

If you are looking for a good service, do not go...

We had a good meal here at this handmade pasta restaurant, however it wasn't as amazing as a few folk made it out to be-perhaps we had high expectations?! We were seated immediately however it took a while for our order to be taken. We felt a bit ignored so my friend throughout our meal made it a point to say excuse me to the waitresses to grab their attention which made the service faster, it's not something we should have to do or remind them dishes are missing. However I do appreciate that it is a busy restaurant. The handmade foccacia was lovely and the mini pizzas were okay rather a large portion big enough for 3, so we got the mini pizzas to takeaway. The tomato and basil malloreddos was good and so was the butter and sage culurgiones although it was a small portion. The salad of celery, fennel, orange and avocado was refreshing and crunchy. The orangeade was very nice to drink. Meal cost us €60 felt a bit overpriced for nice meal, just felt like it could have been...
