GAP Gelateria Artigianale — Restaurant in Olbia

New info added I decided to remove 2 stars from the review as I experienced a disappointment yesterday when I had the smallest €3 gelato ever. I should have taken a photo, it was ridiculously small that I was shocked. I have been coming to this place for 4 years and never saw anything like this. Not sure if the guy who served us was new (we asked other staff and they said he wasn’t).

Anyway, the amount of the gelato he gave me wasn’t even worth €1. One bite and it was finished. Disappointing. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

My first gelato in Olbia 2 years ago. It was so busy, I had to wait in the queue for like 10 minutes!

I have been coming back for a few times this week :) the place is getting busier though it’s not yet summer! However, we are not allowed to eat inside the gelateria during the orange zone restrictions.

My favourite flavour here is passion fruit yogurt...

Extremely Slow Service – Disappointing Experience

We ordered just two fresh juices and a ready-made cakes, expecting a quick and simple service. Shockingly, it took 45 minutes for our order to arrive, despite the café being far from busy—only three tables were occupied inside at the time.

To make matters worse, another customer seated outside actually had to come in and look for a waitress because no one had attended to them for a long time. It turns out there were only two staff members working that day—one handling both the orders and table service, and the other managing beverages and the cashier. Understandably, they were overwhelmed, but this setup is clearly insufficient and reflects poor...

We’ve asked around about a good gelateria / pasticceria in Olbia as my birthday was around the corner while visiting the Island of Sardegna. We wanted to buy a cake and a waiter from a quite upstanding restaurant recommended this place as being one of the best. Unfortunately not for us, big mistake because it didn’t meet our standards/ expectations! We bought 4 different type of mini cakes and the famous italian Maritozzi because this one looked OK in the display but the bun was dry and after a few bites we decided to literally throw it away and we hate throwing food away.
