Pension La Fontana — Hotel in Pustertal - Val Pusteria

We went to eat at La Fontana restaurant while staying on holiday in Corvara. We were surprised at the cost of some dishes when we saw what was produced on the plate. I ordered buffalo mozzarella with grilled vegetables. There was a reasonable selection of vegetables but only three tiny mozzarellas on the plate. Considering the cost was over 15 euros I expected a bit more. Also an annoying thing was that they refused to serve tap water. I had to order an expensive bottle of mineral water. A group of 7 of us stayed here for a week. We absolutely loved the place - friendly helpful staff, wonderful food, clean traditional accommodation and perfectly located in central Corvara just a short walk to the Col Alt gondola lift. The place is also only a minute away from L'Murin which we found to be the liveliest Apres Ski bar in town. ||||Our only issue was the limited wifi available (restricted hours and couldn't cope with many users). Run buy a couple with great friendly staff, the location was great for the Maratona Dolomites on the last bend before you climb up the Passo campolongo. We had a balcony room on the ground floor with the sound of the river was very pleasant. The food was plentiful, with a good choice of breakfast and varied 3 courses for half board, with a freshly buffet salad to start too.
