Was trying to do a budget holiday for our two days in Rome and found this place with amazing reviews. Decided to book and what a great place to stay. It was a little hard to find as there is no signage or anything but we found in the end, tucked away in the corner. We were greeted by the owner's friend who was such a lovely charming man, showed us the necessaries and offered to help plan our stay in Rome too. We had actually already pre-planned everything but the gesture was welcome.||The next morning we met Giacomo who is, quite possibly, the nicest person with the biggest heart of gold I have ever met. He knows all the best times to visit the attractions and even has a few bits of insider knowledge about them which can be very useful.||The decor of the place is welcoming and the whole place has a little remnant from every traveller that has ever stayed. The room we had was perfect and the powerful fan was absolute bliss on the extremely warm Roman nights. Breakfast was exactly what we wanted (a proper Continental buffet)...perfect for picking at.||I have absolutely nothing to fault this place for and everything to praise it. Hopefully Giacomo is still around next time we visit Rome and he is not off gallivanting to some far flung Buddhist monastery or temple :-) ||||Grazie Mille Giacomo,...

Read moreAt first glance things seem a little dingy or unprofessional. But then after meeting the host, Jacomo, and settling down in the very nice rooms, my worries lifted and I felt right at home. The breakfast that was available every morning was more than substantial and had a wide range of foods to choose from. The beds we're soft and clean, clean linen was provided along with maps and tips on when to go to places, where to go, and places to eat. By far the best part of my stay was getting to know the host. He even made a dinner for me and the other guests that were staying there. Needless to say it was amazing. My only concern would be if you don't like cats or the atmosphere of zen related themes this might not be the right place for you. But any teen or college student would find prefect comfort in...
