Domenico — Restaurant in Rome

Not sure if Michelin has actually ever visited here? Half the menu was not available, we asked for a wine list, and apparently no list existed. We were forced to order one white and one red glass. Right after that, the next table was sat and was magically able to receive a full wine list?

Charged 2 euro per person for bread we did not order. Beefsteak was wildly overcooked and chewy. The paddle fish was a joke. The 'cooked' asparagus came cold. Seemed like it was left over from last night.

Found this place on Google Maps, it had good reviews and we were staying in the area and so decided to visit for dinner. Went in as English speakers (bit awkward) and got atrocious service (they were begging us to get out of the place) despite being half empty. The food was okay (we asked for a medium steak and it came out very-rare) but not worth the €20 we paid for it. Overall t'was a very disappointing experience and we shall not be visiting the place again. 'Romolo e reme' down the road is a much better (cheaper) alternative with better food...

The service was appalling. We were not served menus until we asked, order was not taken until we had to waive a staff member down and the worst was where the waitress took away the starter as I was still eating. We decided to pay for what we had eaten and leave. At this point management did not care or show they cared and simply bought over the bill Can only assume a racist establishment. Highly disappointing but can understand why they are nowhere near...
