Gran Tubla — Hotel in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

Stayed in a Studio Apartment with Balcony, 2-5 October.

Absolutely amazing apartment and stay. It was hard to see exactly what the apartment would be like on Booking.com as the pictures were a bit limited and I was unsure whether they were just representative. I thought we would have a balcony (we booked a studio apartment), but it was so much more than I had hoped for, so much space and views to die for!!

The pool facilities were so much more than I expected too, and the water was so lovely and warm that even spending time in the outdoor pool was very pleasant.

It was great having a kitchen area within the accomodation as we were able to cook a meal and stay in when it was pouring with rain one evening, everything we could have needed was provided and the kitchen was a very high spec with good quality crockery and glassware.

In summary we absolutely loved our 3 nights here and we're very sad to leave. We hope to return in the not too distant future

Will try to update with photos later, just wanted to make absolutely sure I left a five-star review for this beautiful hotel and, more importantly, the lovely people who run it. My husband and I are staying here for part of our honeymoon, and the service has been absolutely excellent. We had the most incredible breakfast on a fancy tray delivered right outside the room (note: you have to specify the day before that you would like breakfast and at what time, which is perfectly reasonable). I preferred to eat and enjoy it rather than take a photo shoot, but trust and believe it was as pretty as it was delicious.

I wanted to wash my hair and didn’t see any conditioner, and when I called to ask the front desk, the owner of the hotel literally gave me her own personal conditioner within 5 minutes because she felt so bad that they didn’t have any. For the record, she has excellent taste and my hair is very happy in addition to being nice and clean after several days of unwashed, unbrushed travel.

These are phenomenally kind, polite, and delightful people, and I only hope that all their guests are as nice to them as they are to...

We absolutely loved our stay at Gran Tubla Apartments, a perfect base for exploring the Dolomites! We were welcomed by a friendly gentleman at reception who helped us with our bags and made check-in easy. As we were visiting on our honeymoon, we believe we were given a room upgrade with a private patio, plus a lovely floral decoration on the bed — such a thoughtful touch! The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and really well equipped with everything from body wash and lotion to dishwasher tablets and kitchen roll. We also appreciated the little extras like hangers, a safe, free coffee pods, towels, flip-flops, and robes for the pool area. Speaking of which, the pool and sauna were lovely, and the views of the surrounding mountains were absolutely stunning. The location is also great, just a short 5–10 minute walk downhill to the centre of Ortisei and very close to the cable cars that take you to places like Seceda. It’s a bit of a steep walk back to the hotel from the centre, but not a biggie. Another bonus: free covered parking with plenty of spaces. All in all, a...
