Came here by myself on a rainy day after a hike. It just felt a bit weird moment I set foot in. The indoor decor is a bit gloomy & outdated, the staff at the door who greets guests & showed them to table, the waitress who took my order, they barely smiled and acted coldly. I almost wanted to leave, but it’s rainy outside & I was super hungry, so I did stay. Most of the guests are tourists, came in a group, played with bar games. It just felt like a random roadside restaurant, again, the vibe is off, which is very rare in an Italien restaurant. The bottle of water was here, but my glass got stains of water spots on it. Flies flying around the table. I don’t know if I made a good choice to stay. But then the food came. The server who brought my food was the only one with a big smile & checked if everything is ok. And I started with their signature Risotto, with shrimp and truffle. Every discomfort and doubt disappeared. It’s an excellent dish of Risotto & very very well-cooked! Saw people coming in to get to-go pizzas, now I am very interested, ordered one margarita pizza to go & brought back to the hotel. Again, it tasted superb! If I could, I recommend getting their food to-go, and avoid dining-in. I don’t really feel welcomed or well treated as a guest, the atmosphere and service were off, makes me felt discomfort. I was traveling by myself as an Asian woman, if this is a point of information to add on to...
Read moreWe were traveling with my elderly parents and chose this place based on reviews that said the service was friendly. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite and honestly very embarrassing.
It was raining and the place was crowded, so we couldn’t just leave. When I asked if there were any seats, the older female server gave us a dirty look and threw a chair down in the aisle like she was annoyed. She could’ve just said there were no seats. In fact, there were empty tables in the back that she could have offered or combined, but instead she put us in a hallway seat with a sour face. When taking our order, she looked at us like we were bothering her and slammed the dishes down. I noticed she didn’t treat other tables that way. The younger female staff member was fine, but the older woman was just unbelievably rude.
To make it worse, a karen sitting behind us told me not to move the chair next time 🤷♀️even though I didn’t move it, the server had placed it there. When I explained that to her, she just shrugged like it wasn’t her problem. It was a completely unpleasant experience from start to finish. Well we didn’t even want to sit there in the first place.
I hope that rude server and that woman get the same treatment when they travel with their own...
Read moreTourist Group Tour Review : Given our background coming from Indonesia, please keep in mind our tastebud is very subjective. But for other subjects I'll try to be objective. . We have prebooked a three course meal during lunch. When we came, the head waitress noticed we brought small children with us and politely offer and allow us to make change if we wanted to switch the prebooked main course to something more suitable for the kids. . The servers are attentive although only one of them speak good English. First meal we have is meat ball with soup. Soup is light, meatballs are large. Taste ok. Second we have pork ribs. The ribs are delicious, a bit on savory side. For dessert/dolce we had Ice Cream with Crushed Raspberry. The ice cream is cold and the raspberry is warm so, unique combination. . Overall I recommend the establishment for the swift service and hospitality given...
