This was the first stop of our trip and it was a great way to start. Super cozy wine bar with both in and outdoor seating.

We weren't so familiar with the wines and the waiters were about to point us in directions that matched our taste and they had tons of very reasonably priced options.

We sat outside on a lovely weekend night and enjoyed the Caprese salad, which had just enough pesto and an ample amount of mozzarella cheese. This came with potato chips (lovely?), two pieces of cured meat, some of the plumpest olives I've ever had, and a variety of breads. I'm not sure if it's just me that doesn't understand the regional breads but everything in the area was pretty hard and this was no exception. I didn't dislike it but I didn't totally understand it.

Disappointing End to a Promising Spot

We spent a few nights at this wine bar and initially had a great time—the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the staff was friendly. However, our last visit completely changed our impression.

We ordered a specific vintage (2014), which they didn’t have, and instead, they brought us a 2019 bottle while insisting on charging the same price. The owner’s reaction made it clear he knew exactly what he was doing—nervous, avoiding eye contact, and unwilling to make it right. Suddenly, the previously friendly staff went silent, ignoring us completely.

It’s one thing to make a mistake, but another to knowingly take advantage of your customers. What could have been a go-to spot ended in pure disappointment. Won’t be...

If you are looking for the perfect lounge bar right in the center of Ortisei, look no further! From the moment my friends and I arrived, we were welcomed from the owners, Cristian and Jan, and got seated right away! The cocktails are amazing, you have to try their Moscow Mule or the Aperitivo del giorno! We also wanted something to snack on and tried their ”schiacciate“ which are to die for!
