We have been here 3 years in a row now. Our children (now 5 and 8) simply love it and will not allow us to go anywhere else. They love the swimming pool - columns to climb on, steps to get in, coloured lights, fun buttons that activate powerful water currents. They love the food: a buffet with all kinds of items to choose from (including good, fresh fruit and vegetables and delicious fresh bread) followed by several courses of excellent cooked food (the night before you are given several options to choose from) - we were particularly impressed by the desserts. Shuttle vans are available for transfers to and from the Alpe di Siusi gondola. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, from the owners (two brothers and their mum), to Mr Albert who runs the shuttle vans, to the waiters. The Alpe di Siusi complex of ski slopes is ideal for families too: the slopes are not hard, and several ski schools, specifically geared towards younger learners (e.g. http://www.skischule-schlern3000.com/en/), are available.||The rooms are comfortable, with thermostats to set your own preferred temperature, wide bathrooms and comfortable beds - even the sofabed set up for the children is nice and firm - not sagging. Internet connection is available - although you need to pay for that separately.||||I'd recommend this hotel to families without any significant...

Read moreApart from beautiful view and the quiet surrounding, everything here is average - but this is what you get for the price that you pay, maybe I should not compare. ||||The service is courteous - they offered different menus for our children when there was nothing they liked on their daily menu. But it lacks finesse and professionalism. Breakfast is acceptable, but dinner is always a bit chaotic. You have to be there early, as once they finish their antipasti buffet, they will not replenish anymore. They were able to serve on time, but took time to clear the plates. Many times when they came with our main course, only to realize that there were still some dirty plates on our table. ||||We chose the package where breakfast and dinner ate included - but we were not informed that water is NOT included!! ||||Oh... and a lot of flies!!! I know it is not them to blame maybe we just went in the wrong season but I think they could have done something about it. ||||Other than that we are happy with this hotel. But we will probably look for another hotel if we ever go back to...
