Hotel NH Torino Centro — Hotel in Turin

Well, honestly I do not have much to say, since this is an NH-related hotel, and I had the wonderful opportunity to lodge in a similar hotel in London (unfortunately it has been discontinued permanently). Just to wrap in the main points: premise itself is presented pretty good, with clean and elegant common rooms and welcome hall; rooms are cozy, clean, quiet, and elegant, having all the amenities you could need; Breakfast is also available, continental, and with good variety of food and drinks for all the tastes. That's about the hotel premise itself, then regarding other things, location is tactic, pretty close to Torino Porta Susa train station (about 5 minutes by feet), and in about 20 minutes walk you can also reach the city center. Or, if you prefer, public transport is also available almost right outside the hotel entrance area.|Wrapping up, again not many things to say, I was completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this hotel for staying in Turin for a trip.|I was about to forget, last but definitely not least hotel staff was fantastic, helpful and available...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Big shoutout to Francesco at the bar for keeping me company for a couple hours, and teaching me some (more) Italian, while I waited for my taxi to the airport. Additionally, I’d like to thank the receptionist who checked me in. I didn’t catch his name but he was working the night shift on the 3rd June, 2025. He was very kind, and sympathetic to the fact of my sheer exhaustion from 17 hours of travelling. He recommended food delivery apps (as the restaurant & bar had closed and I hadn’t eaten) and checked me in as fast as he could. He even knew my name before I could say it due to how late I was checking in. It was a little thing but it showed how on the ball the he is with his job. The hotel was lovely and conveniently located on a lovely picturesque street, the room clean and quiet, and the mini bar was a lovely addition - a lot cheaper than most hotels too. The elevators were fast. The welcome table at reception was well stocked, the lobby modern and inviting, and allowing patrons to store their luggage for free was a great addition too....

The hotel has a great location, but the experience is far from great in detail. A decent mattress and a varied rich breakfast (plus a great service during breakfast) are the only outstanding merits. Unfortunately in all, it does not offer the quality and value for money one can expect from a four-star hotel from a renowned network. The building itself looks old/tired and seems to have been superficially refreshed, but not very well maintained. The cleanliness of the room is unacceptable in this standard, visible mold in corners of the bathroom, which proves the cleaning is very superficial. The reception staff were formally super correct and professional, but it seemed nobody cared to ask about the experience ... As this was a short one night stay, there was no sense to make any complaints about another average place, yet if you expect to have a certain value for ca. EUR 200 a night off season, look somewhere else ... Despite good experiences with NH in Italy before, I am not willing to book again...
