Lots of good and bad but the bad outweighs the good for me. To start, the instructions provided were an overload but the important detail......"Where is your apartment" was not clear. The code was not provided prior to arrival and so the whole arrival process was stressful.

Once there a number of issues with the apartment became apparent namely: THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK ANYWHERE EXCEPT THE BEDROOM. The owner is clearly aware of this but perhaps does not want to spend the €50 required to fix it. When we advised, he said perhaps it is environmental.......the prior reviews on booking.com suggest this is a long standing issue. The heating in the lounge room does not work. Fortunately the bedroom heating "kind of" works but it would be awful during winter. Again previous comments suggest this is not a new issue. The "shower" is not really usable as a shower. The curtain around the bath might be basically functional but is far from a safe solution if you want a shower........be prepared to kneel while showering to avoid the risk of falling out onto the floor. No tea towels provided. If you want to wash a cup or plate you can use a paper towel to wipe it out or let it drip.....only a small item but annoying.

I am so glad we booked here. The accommodation is spectacular. The hosts really spared no expenses on the Decor from the murano chandeliers, the beautiful artwork, the collection of art books, etc.

Very spacious. It’s very regal (it feels like your living in a museum).

Location is great. Direct boat shuttle from the airport and everything is only 10 minutes away.

I’d really recommend you explore the Castello area. Less touristy...

We have just had three very comfortable nights in this charming, very well equipped apartment. There is everything one needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay and it's in a lovely quiet position but so close to the sites. Michele is a charming host, very helpful and quick to respond to any queries...
