What a gem! This was one of the highlights of our trip. We walked by and noticed this place was full when all the others weren't. We decided to come back and give it a try. The staff was very accommodating and kid friendly. I say that because in Italy no one rushes you out of a restaurant when you're done eating and there was a table that was done eating and decided to sit around and chat. The host poured us some glasses of sparkling white wine while we waited for them to shuffle around some tables so they could seat us. We were quickly tended to - mind you this place was busy. Their staff and host are top notch. The food was amazing. My daughter had the fettuccine Alfredo made in a Parmigiano regiano cheese wheel. I had the fried seafood platter and e got a pizza as well. Couldn't leave out the desserts - the tiramisu and panacotta were amazing! The fettuccine was probably the best I've had to date. We preferred this food to anything we had in Rome. Seating by the water at sun set in one of Italy's most iconic cities, it was unforgettable. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience and I wish this business continued success!

Aris was amazing recommending dessert in the drinks that would go good with that, sir he was polite and the other waiter was amazing as well because he explained the different dishes. He explained what I was looking for. I ate twice at this restaurant and the first time I came that waiter was amazing. I told him what kind of drink I was looking for and he gave it to me. I went another restaurant and I ordered the same drink and it was, not medicine and I ordered the same drink and it is just so delicious. The olive is amazing the food and the desert when I come back, I will make sure I come back to this restaurant. I also had breakfast in the breakfast with delicious so I came to this restaurant. two dinners and one breakfast, and I was never disappointed with the service. The taste in the food in the price was not to be expected for the quality of the food. I will definitely be coming back make sure to ask for Aperol Spritz’s you not find the way that it taste over here if there were more stars to give, I will give it

Location is beautiful, at the end of the main street of Castello, last of a row of restaurants. View is also very beautiful with a bridge across the line of sight to the next isle Giudecca. Unfortunately there was maintenance work ongoing and that reduced the pleasure of the view. We found food good but it was not salted homogeneously. Something was almost salty while "normal fish" had probably no salt at all. That made it hard to adjust. We tried to add salt and that's when we discovered how dirty the salt container was inside, in that part that is in direct contact with the salt (see picture). Staff was generally very gentle and at the end of the meal they offered us the traditional limoncello. I didn't particularly appreciate that while talking to us to take the order the waiter stopped twice to shout to another "table 41" (and then did the same 2 more times from other areas).

A Place to Get Away from the Tourist Traps and Have an Awesome Italian Meal. Visited with friends (six of us). The location is excellent, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist section but still nice views and an excellent atmosphere. The service is great, the owners are there cooking and serving making sure to give advice on dishes, wine and ensuring you are happy with your meal. And of course the food; very, very, very good (I do not want to overuse the superlatives.) Overall, a very relaxing, fun evening. Recommend everything but for a unique experience as if you were on a Rick Steve's travel show please have the fish baked in salt...delicious. Reasonably priced too. Less then half a mile from San Marco's square.

I recently dined at La Nuova Perla in Venice and had an absolutely delightful experience. The service was exceptionally friendly, making us feel warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, with standout dishes including the tomato risotto with shrimp, seafood spaghetti, and the Tagliata di Manzo. Each dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Additionally, the restaurant’s proximity to the sea added to the overall charm, providing a lovely atmosphere for a memorable meal. I highly recommend La Nuova Perla to anyone visiting Venice!

La Nuova Perla sits adjacent to a canal with a front seat view of the lagoon, so sitting outside allows you a spectacular view as you dine. The food was delicious with generous portions. If you get the cheese pasta, you’ll also get a show as they’ll bring a cheese wheel and twirl a whole bunch of noodle around in it that you’ll soon get to enjoy. Bathrooms have toilet seats (this is going to be a key piece of info, and once you’re in Italy, you’ll understand why). They take cards. Highly recommend making a reservation.
