The only thing the hotel has going for it is it’s convenient location to public transportation and the staff. The staff at the front desk were nice during the entire stay but that cannot make up for the lack of comfort and cleanliness at the hotel.
After the first night I went into the bathroom to find hundreds of ants crawling on the floor. I told the front desk and he assured that it would be taken care of. I came back at the end of the day to find out that yes the ants were dead but housekeeping just left the dead ants there! I also had a sleeping schedule that was different than normal due to the film festival that I was attending so housekeeping was unable to clean my room whenever I was gone (afternoon until late night).
Due to the room being “cleaned” the day after I got there, they have a policy where you get fresh towels every other day but I was left without new towels for 4 days. I went to the front desk to ask for another towel and they wanted 5€ for another one.
There is absolutely no soundproofing in this hotel and you can hear the room next to you (through the connecting door in your room) and everything else that happens in the hallway. I ended up sleeping with my noise cancelling headphones on as doors were being slammed and people were yelling on the phone while I was trying to sleep.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel no matter how cheap it is due to the reasons listed above. I regret staying here for so long and will look elsewhere for my next...
Read moreThe room we got looked nothing like the images they show on their websites. Extremely small and crowded with useless furniture. The bathroom was the worst: the "shower" didn't even have a shower head, just a pipe where water came from, and it was on top of the toilet, so you had to shower standing between the toilet and the bidet. As everyone says, it's extremely dirty and they don't change your towels when they should (once every two days according to their policy). We stayed 4 days and we never got our towels changed. The worst part is that we wanted to complain about all this, but there was no one on the reception, during all the days we stayed there. In fact, the check in was made by a construction worker that was there. Speaking of, they were making some remodelations in the lobby, so we were woken up every day at 7am by construction noises. Also, every afternoon the fire alarm rang (apparently all false alarms). TLDR: don't waste your money here, you'll...
Read moreWish I hadn't paid in advance! Read the other negative reviews! Nothing changend since then. I hope my review will warn others. It stinks intensely of an unpleasant, pungent cleaning product used to cover up the smell of mold. Mold in the bathrooms, because none is equipped with a window, so the guests of this "Hotel" inhale the black mold spores while they are sleeping. "Fresh" towels are hanging in the black mold (pictures provide proof). Several foreign hairs found on "folded" towels and in the so-called "clean" bed. Walls are paper-thin. Surfaces are sticky in seceral rooms. I have never felt so disgusted and had to leave....
