Avenue B&B — Hotel in Verona

The best part about this B&B is the charming host, Massimo. He and the excellent breakfast. That and the great location. And the nice room. ||||Massimo was very gracious, good at emailing back, and welcomed us with a big smile even though we were late in arrival. He called in a restaurant reservation for us and had other recommendations if that fell through. ||||The Avenue is well located five minutes walk from the train station and five to seven from the arena. So you are out of the main tourist area and it is really quiet. The room faced to the back courtyard and we slept with the windows open and it was very quiet. ||||The room was very clean, very spacious, and had excellent fast WiFi and lots of plugs for charging. Coffee maker provided. Lots of light and a nice terrace. The bathroom was clean, large, had a tub and a shower hand-held with no shower screen. You know, the tub shower thing. I stayed here about 5 days here and it was great. Massimo, the host, was very kind and helpful. I arrived much later than the usual check-in time due to a general strike. However, Massimo was very understanding and still took time, that evening when I finally arrived, to recommend places to grab a coffee or something quick to eat that evening if I wanted to so. The next day he gave me lots of other recommendations of things to see and do and where to eat.

As for the room itself, it was great. The location is perfect. It's just about equally distant between the train station and the city center. And just outside the door, there are plenty of great places to eat or have a coffee or aperitivo. The room was nice, clean, and quiet at night. I really enjoyed the Nespresso machine and refrigerator. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was very nice, much nicer than mine at home. :-)

Ich habe ein Zimmer in den Avenue-Rooms für drei Übernachtungen in Verona gebucht.

Bereits der Empfang von Massimo war sehr herzlich. Danach hat er sich etwa eine halbe Stunde Zeit genommen, mir ausfühliche Empfehlungen für Besichtigungen, gastronomische Angebote (z.B. für Frühstück und Abendessen) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu geben.

Mit dieser personalisierten Sightseeing-Karte von Massimo für meine Tage in Verona war jeder weitere Reiseführer gänzlich überflüssig. Außerdem habe ich dadurch Geheimtips in Verona entdeckt, auf die ich alleine nie gestoßen wäre.

Das Zimmer war außergewöhnlich schön. Ein Badezimmer wie in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel, ein extrem bequemes Bett und ein großer Kleiderschrank, dazu mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.

Das Zimmer hatte einen Kühlschrank, der perfekt leise gearbeitet hat, so dass man ungestört schlafen konnte, im Kühlschrank standen bereits zwei kleine Flaschen Wasser. Eine Nespresso-Maschine mit Kaffeekapseln, Milch, Zucker und Kaffeekeksen, ein Wasserkocher und Tee verhalf mir dazu zu einem perfekten Start in den Tag.

Überhaupt, das Zimmer war schon so wohnlich wie eine eigene Wohnung in Verona, einfach zum Wohlfühlen.

Obwohl die Avenue-Rooms absolut zentral zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Verona und an einer Hauptstraße liegen, waren die Fenster offensichtlich so perfekt schallisoliert, dass ich in völliger Ruhe schlafen konnte.

Ein ektrisches Verdunkelungsrollo und eine Klimaanlage machen das Zimmerangebot perfekt.

Già l'accoglienza di Massimo è stata molto calorosa. Poi ha impiegato circa mezz'ora per darmi consigli dettagliati su visite turistiche, offerte gastronomiche (ad esempio per colazione e cena) e possibilità di shopping.

Con questa mappa turistica personalizzata di Massimo per i miei giorni a Verona, qualsiasi altra guida di viaggio era completamente superflua. Mi ha anche permesso di scoprire consigli utili a Verona che non avrei mai incontrato da solo.

La stanza era eccezionalmente bella. Un bagno come in un hotel a 5 stelle, un letto estremamente comodo e un capiente armadio, arredato con grande attenzione ai dettagli.

La stanza aveva un frigorifero che funzionava perfettamente silenziosamente così potevi dormire indisturbato, con due piccole bottiglie d'acqua già nel frigorifero. Una macchina Nespresso con capsule di caffè, latte, zucchero e biscotti al caffè, bollitore e tè mi ha aiutato a iniziare la giornata alla perfezione.

In generale, la stanza era confortevole come il tuo appartamento a Verona, giusto per stare bene.

Sebbene le camere Avenue siano assolutamente centrali rispetto a tutte le attrazioni di Verona e su una strada principale, le finestre erano ovviamente così perfettamente insonorizzate che ho potuto dormire in tutta tranquillità.

Una tenda oscurante elettrica e l'aria condizionata rendono l'offerta della camera perfetta.
