Kuretake Inn — Hotel in Asahikawa

Don't be surprised if you see an office when you enter the building. The check in counter is located at the back of the office.

The staff quickly directed me to the car park before checking us in as my car was illegally parked outside. It was my first time using an automated parking system. I had to drive into a lift for the car to be stored.

A welcome drink was served at the hotel cafe at 5 pm. Next to the lifts, were shelves with accessories eg fans and dehumidifier, which you can borrow and sachets of beverages.

Room is the typical budget hotel size. Compact and clean. Great service.

The room is a bit narrow with a King size bed, luggage hardly can open wide on the walkway, the walkway only allow 1 person to pass by each time. But the free breakfast is a bonus, their curry is really nice! And also for the free beer on Happy Hour time. Providing luxury brand toiletries - POLA and all the basic facilities : TV, jug kettles, coffee, clothes freshener. Walking distance 300m to famous mutton grilled restaurant 大黑屋 & walking street. But the shops here closed really early, by 8pm can hardly find a cafe except...

Conveniently located, at the main road so its not scary to walk back alone at night. Local food at the neighbouring shopping street, walkable to JR station and bus terminal, ease to access to neighbouring cities and within as well. Amenities were provided at the lobby, self-service, take as you need. Shampoo, body wash and lotion provided were of good quality as well. Room is abit old and small but...
