Cool little find, wonderful sake bar where you can pick (take) a bottle from the fridge and the staff will pour it for you. It’s a standing bar which is fun and quite state of the art in design. You can also choose to do a flight based on sweet or dry sakes. There’s a colour code for the price range.

Almost all sakes are served chilled but there is one sake that’s served warm. They do food - very tasty. Try the egg and Oden, you won’t regret it.

The staff can’t really speak English but will try their best to help and communicate. The shop front is a sake stall. Prices aren’t cheap for Japan standards but makes sense given its convenience as a one stop shop.

A must for...

Came across this place while walking around Asahikawa. Front of the shop sells various types of sake and Japanese whiskey/ gin, at the back is a cosy standing sake bar. Was recommended the Asahikawa flight and classic beer. We were pleasantly surprised by the flavours. Staff can't really communicate in English but Google Translate does the job! We saw quite a few customers having the tamagoyaki and were blown away by how well they paired with the sake flight.

・旭川らぅめん青葉　本店 老舗のお店が提供する旭川ラーメンは絶品 細ちぢれ麺と後を引く醤油出汁がたまりません 久々にスープを飲み干しました

・大黒屋　ジンギスカン 平日の18：30で30組の行列ができるほど いわずと知れた人気店 もちろん美味しく活気があるおススメ店 発券システムなので券をとって別のお店で 時間を潰すのも吉。発券をして戻ってこない方も いるので思ったより順番が来るのは早いです

・天売 今回訪問できていないけれども こちらも誰もが勧めるお店 圧倒的な厚みのある刺し盛を食べてみたかった おひとりさまはNGの模様 訪問前には必ず電話で確認を
