no cap the best meal i've had in my years of living in japan

the pork offal — what they're famous for — was fantastic. the regular version had a mix of cuts, including small intestine and stomach(?) i think, and it was just the right mix of chewy and tender. the premium offal was large intestine, and the flavour was the right balance of funky and clean. the regular lamb had a strong flavour too (personally, lamb that didn't taste a little gamey is kinda pointless) and was fatty and tender. the Suffolk lamb was nice too, if a bit salty and clean tasting.

the value is absolutely amazing, and that's before considering the top notch quality.

this place is not only worth visiting, but it's worth going out of your way for.

Went in 7.20pm without reservation. Waiter asked us to come back 8pm, that we did but half of the menu were not available. We seated indoor but there weren’t any working ventilators. Very smokey, first time I had my tears dropped and blocked nose due to these indoor smoke in a restaurant. Can’t believe this happened in Japan. Maybe outdoor is a better choice.
