Ridiculous and disrespectful – vegan customers completely ignored and disrespected.
I waited 45 minutes outside in the heat, only to finally get inside and see a note on the machine that there’s no vegan option anymore. Forty-five minutes wasted. By then, it was almost 10 PM and everything else was closed.
During that time, staff came outside twice to ask how many people were in line—but not once did they think to tell us there was no vegan ramen. You thought the level of importance was equal to that of a sticker inside when you only see it after you finish waiting in line?
I’ve seen many reviews praising the vegan option while waiting in line (I had plenty of time). This is clearly not an unpopular menu option. Complete lack of consideration and respect for customers’ time and also they left me without other restaurant options because they made me wait there until everywhere else is closed by now. Avoid if you value your time. Food is not worth almost...
Read moreYummy! I finally found vegan ramen in Oki and I'm so excited 😁. This place is very easy to find as far as the location, but be mindful there is no parking so you have park on the street and wherever you can find parking. The food was so tasty. What really took me by 😮 was the vegan Gyoza it was so delish no lie! I will absolutely be going back and will tell others about this place. I'm sure their other ramen taste good as well because their vegan ramen was yummy! You walk in and place your order on a machine and then pick a seat and then give your receipt with the number on it, then you they give you a paper to fill out to decide on the thickness of your noodles and the firmness of your noodles. Overall great customer service and very quick service. Be aware that the inside is very tiny and has limited seating so the wait time maybe be...
Read moreThis was my first ramen shop experience in Japan. It was wonderful! We had to double back and get yen as this place is cash only. The staff was friendly and very helpful, exchanging my large notes for the 1000 yen bills the ticket machine took. I kept things simple, and ordered the classic rekka ramen. I added more green onions as well. After sitting down and presenting the tickets, the chef whipped up a bowl faster than I could think. It was by far the best ramen I've had. The pork was delicate and flavorful, and the extra spicy broth was, indeed, extra spicy. It was monumental, and I was also pleased that the total cost was around 6 dollars. I will be coming...
