Stayed with my girlfriend for two nights and loved it. The staff knew enough English and was so happy to help. You can buy what I think are schooners or maybe pints of Asahi for ¥200 which is pretty cheap anyway, plus he was giving us half price drinks one our first night and again the second at what seemed to be at random just because he’s a good bloke. The rooms we stayed in were super nice, the traditional japanese breakfast was pretty cool (just not really my taste unfortunately). Highly recommend when looking to stay in a quiet place with an amazing view...

It is a charming older building with public baths, shower rooms, powder room, foot bath on the terrace, free drinks area, share room, laundry, dining room, A manga room, smoking lounge… You can even bbq on the roof top terrace. So, definitely a lot of amenities you can use!
Highly recommend using their rental bikes as this was our favourite way to explore the city! In general, the staff was always very friendly and accommodating to us during our stay. We greatly appreciate their kindness and thoughtful gestures. We hope to visit again sometime...
