Around 150 metres from the main property, lies this little yet amazing two storeyed annexe building Terrace Ban. Our room (no 303) which also had an open air bathtub offered great views of Mt Fuji. The room decor, property ambience, etc were all excellent and it is really difficult in Japan to find a room this big at this price point (around 11000 yen/night with breakfast). The breakfast offered on the ground floor from 7:30 to 8:45 am consisted of chicken soup with vegetables, bread, boiled egg and tea. There is also a Family Mart in the main building and a 7 eleven some hundred metres from there offering all daily necessary items. The only mode of local transportation is the Red Line bus which stops in front of the main building and taxis have to be arranged through a call from the front desk. This is a tranquil place for enjoying nature at its very best and one cannot find restaurants nearby. The northern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko is just 2-3 mints away.
