Fukuoka Guesthouse SHIP — Hotel in Fukuoka

Average experience since false advertisement at HostelWorld. I arrived at 8:15am to drop my luggage after my night bus ride (in the description was written, that there is sb at the Rezeption from 8am and that it’s possible to drop it from 8am till check in). However when I arrived nobody was there, instead just a sign „Rezeption open from 11am - luggage drop from 11am. I didn’t expect that since I relied on the information given on HostelWorld. So I wasted my time reorganising my day and I got completely drained.

The other thing is, that there was clearly written 9: breakfast included (so technically I paid not just for the bed but also for a breakfast). When I asked about the breakfast starts the staff was shocked that there shall be one. They said they will tell the owner that there is this misinformation, but didn’t do anything else (owner wasn’t there). I paid for it - otherwise it’s false advertisement. Didn’t even get a refund. And I choose this hostel since I had a flight early the next day so I hoped I can save some time having my breakfast there and not having to search for a convini or bakery instead.

Besides that staff was great and we had a great time! The hostel layout is a bit narrow so I had to pack may bag for my flight in the common space (which was still tricky since I had to stop every time ab wanted to...

We booked two nights in a private room well in advance. The hostel then informed us very shortly before arrival that they had mistakenly uploaded the room twice and overboked it, so that the room was not available for the first night. As a solution, they offered us to spend the first night for free in the dorm and only have to pay for the second night (and the first night would be refunded). When we arrived at the guesthouse late in the evening, we received only a fraction of the amount promised and not a refund of the first night...

地下鉄呉服町が最寄りのゲストハウス。 GW期間中、個室に夫婦で宿泊して 1人1泊あたり約2500円と言う圧倒的なコスパの良さでした！ 祇園や天神エリアも少し足を伸ばせば歩ける距離です。 観光や食事を楽しんで、宿では寝るだけで良いって方にはオススメです。 (もちろん他のゲストの方と交流したい方にも！)

【施設】 1Fにフロント兼カフェ兼ラウンジ、トイレ(男女別で1つずつ)、洗面台2つ、シャワー2つ、ミックスドミトリーがあります。 2Fに女性専用ドミトリーと個室が1つあります。 縁側に洗濯機が置いてあり、洗剤等も無料で使えるようなので連泊の方は重宝されているようです。

【シャワー個室について】 改装されていてとても綺麗です。 シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープは備え付けがあります。 タオル類は有料貸出です。 時間は夜の1時まで使用できると言われましたが、23時以降はクワイエットタイムでドライヤーが使えなくなる為、女性の方は特に気を付けてください。 ※洗面にはドライヤーが備え付けです

【部屋(個室)】 2階にある個室は広々としていて、最大5名まで宿泊できるそうです。 2段ベットには上段にも下段にもコンセントがあり重宝しました。 ミニ冷蔵庫があるので飲み物が冷やしておけます。 ただ、それ以外は何もないので(折りたたみ机の1つでもあれば違うのに…)ちょっとした作業をしたい時はラウンジがおすすめです。 部屋の壁は薄めで、隣の女性用ドミトリーからiPhoneの目覚まし音が聞こえるレベルですので、話し声やイヤホンなしで動画を見る際などは自分が思っている以上に音量を抑えた方が良いです。 ちなみに個室にはちゃんと鍵がかけられるので安心です。

【ルームウェア貸出】 連泊者に嬉しいルームウェア貸出が無料です。 シンプルな普通のTシャツや短パンです。 着替えが足りなくなったのでお借りしました。 洗面台の後ろに置いてあり自由に借りられましたが、あまり数が多くないようなので借りたい方はお早めに確保した方がいいかもしれません。

【ちょっと残念だったこと】 連泊の方が多いのもあり、スタッフと宿泊者の見分けが付きにくかったです。 ずっと宿泊者だと思っていたのに、最後にスタッフだったとわかった方がいて吃驚しました… スタッフにしてはあまり感じが良くなくて(チェックアウトで鍵を返却するやりとりの後、外に出た際にありがとうございましたの一言もなく…)少し残念でした。 気さくで親切なスタッフの方もいらっしゃった分、少し寂しい最後でした。

ということですみませんが⭐︎マイナス1評価です。

総合的には大満足でした。 福岡を訪れる際にはまた利用したいです！ ...
