Stunning lodge which made us feel like home during our stay in Hakuba. Perfect location to get to the slopes, super friendly and helpful hosts, close to great restaurants and pubs! |Simply all you need when you go for a skiing trip.. :)||It was a very spontaneous trip and we booked the accommodation while boarding the plane.. :D|At first, we were not sure what to expect as there were really limited reviews online. ||However, when we arrived we were very nicely surprised! The pictures on Booking.com don’t give it justice. ||The place is very cozy and the hosts helped us organize everything during our stay. They helped us to rent our skiing equipment, dropped us to the bus stop when were leaving (at 6am in the morning) and gave some great advice on what to do in the area during our stay.||We stayed in a Log Cabin, which is a very cozy cottage with a loft. It was very spacious and we could have even prepared our own food there if we were staying longer.||Last night we had a Hot pot at the lodge- the best i ever had! You should also try the Plum wine there.. |I remember reading somewhere that the breakfast was not great, i think the breakfast was absolutely fine. You can order extra eggs and some warm options.. Delicious.. :)||I can definitely recommend this lodge and we would love to come back...

Cannot recommend this place and these people enough; take their advice and get to know them. The best meals we had (besides their hotpot night) were the restaurants they recommended. They take the time to get to know you and recommend places they really think you would like, a rarity with tourism these days. Take advantage of this we would not think of staying anywhere else! Bonus is the excellent location steps from a shuttle stop and 5 mins to...
