Their website states (in English) that they accept takeaway orders but when we stopped by to try to place orders for the following night, they refused to open the entrance for us. The icing on the cake was when my wife went round the side to seek help, the person shouted at her "JAPANESE ONLY! NO ENGLISH!" and slammed the door shut. Why even bother listing on Google maps and having an English website with such an attitude.

Just to clarify: (1) we were there during dinner time - there were actually customers dining inside which is why we thought we got the wrong entrance and went round the side; (2) we don't speak Japanese so I am not sure how calling over the phone actually addresses the issue plus we actually wanted to pay in advance to confirm the order (as many would know the dining situation during ski season is a nightmare); and (3) we were literally staying across the restaurant, barely 10...
