The Moo — Local services in Hakuba

Our time at The Moo in Hakuba was absolutely incredible! The lodge itself is beautifully designed—cozy, stylish, and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home.

The location was perfect, offering easy access to ski slopes while still feeling peaceful and secluded. After a day on the mountain, relaxing in the comfortable living rooms and kitchen area or soaking in the bath was pure bliss.

Sitting in the dining area, you get to look out to an amazing view of the mountains. My 5yr old loved making snowmans right outside the living room below. I loved how the lodge is well wired and tech equipped, with motion sensing lights, front door camera, temperature controlled and everything.

For the skiers, there's a place to store your gear, equipment when you enter.

In March 2024, I was at the Moo. The place is filled with powdery snow during winter time, which makes it really magical. The interior of the house is extremely tasteful and luxurious. A soothing and calm decor combined with white powdery snow outside and many transparent windows created a peaceful and healing ambiance that really touched my heart. During my stay, I learned how to ski for the first time. While I have been to many places during the winter, this really caught my heart. Even though an accident happened on the end of third day of ski learning, the pain faded away when having some relaxing time at the Moo. One of the nicest and most magical places I've ever been. The decor is exquisite and loved the windows in the living room. It was picture perfect to sit by the living room to watch the snowfall. It’s well equipped and the kitchen has everything for a home chef to cook something delicious for the family after a tiring day at the slopes. The rooms are spacious and big.
