Mouth watering Cakes, Biggggg Burgers, and best coffee.

I went for Brunch on my last day at Hakuba and they had the best Brunch menu. They were very busy when we went in. Maybe cause there was not a lot going on in Echo land on Wednesdays and also it was almost the end of the season and not a lot of shops were open. Or maybe cause they have the best cakes and burgers over there. They allocated you a table and when we're ready to order we had to order at the counter and pay upfront and as a replacement of the number they would give us an animal or bird to recognize our table. That was really cute.

We tried the Spicy Chicken Burger, which was so big I couldn't fit it in my mouth and there were fries on the sides. Eggs Benedict was so crazy with the muffins and bacon so good. The food was gonna take a little long so we ordered a chocolate Brownie and the cheese cake before the meal. And that was a good choice we made cause after that big meal I couldn't have had fit in any more dessert. The chocolate brownie was so fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside and it went well w the whipped cream. The Cheese cake was melting in my mouth. That was one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had. The coffee shake was something new and amazingly good and their Hot Chocolate was also really good. The main meal was amazing. The size of the burger wouldn't fit in my mouth. So do your mouth stretching before they land that hot thing on your table.

The interior and the vibes were so cozy and cute. I would love to visit them again if i ever get a chance to...

Who ever imagined that me, an American, would have the best burger of my life in a tiny ski village in Japan? Well, it happened, and I’m still shook to my core. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich (this was heavenly) and a burger (forget which one though), and, boy, do we not have any regrets. I still dream of the pulled pork sandwich and the burger to this day. Not only were the portions FILLING (they were Texas-sized. I’ve never been to Texas myself, but, I’ve heard of how big things are there), but they were high quality. It’s difficult to find good food that comes in large quantities outside of Japan, so sometimes I am hesitant to order food that comes in jumbo sizes. The meat was incredibly soft, and the flavors were so complex and nuanced. I’d go back in a heartbeat if I could! Additionally, they provide soft blankies in the winter for everyone to put on their laps! Super cute place. We were bummed when we found it was closed the following morning, as we were hoping we’d be able to grab some...

The owner was disrespectful. Despite high ratings, my dining experience turned disastrous. Ordering was smooth, but the Wi-Fi connection issues led to a frustrating encounter. The staff acknowledged weak signals but when returning to my seat, I overheard offensive remarks about the Wi-Fi. The male staff continued making coffee, ignoring my inquiries. The female owner, when approached for an apology, arrogantly questioned my complaint. This unpleasant attitude and discriminatory behavior make it the worst establishment I've encountered in over a decade in Japan. I decided not to endure such a place and left. The request for a takeout bag was met with reluctance and a demand for payment. The owner's erratic behavior, refusal to refund, and attempts to involve the police confirmed my decision to never return to such a disrespectful and discriminatory establishment, regardless of...

Busy. Very busy. Be prepared to wait a little bit, but it's worth it. Coffee continues to be quite nice. A couple of daily selections and the traditional lattes, flat whites, and other espresso based drinks. As some other folks have mentioned, they've pared back their menu a bit but this is probably for the best. It seems like everything they have they do well. My friends and I just stopped in for a coffee and a snack this time. The muffins are pretty fantastic. No Costco reheated nonsense here. About 5 or 6 choices, from green tea to blueberry and cream cheese. We had 4 kinds and only one was just "ok" (the maple and nuts one), all the rest were moist and perfectly baked, served with a dollop of fresh Whipped cream. The carrot cake is also fantastic, as I'm sure all the desserts are. Definitely worth a trip to, and absolutely no excuse to not go if you're in the Echoland area.
