Kitsune Cottages — Hotel in Hakuba

Everything about Kitsune is perfect and well thought out. The location is perfect with quick bus stops to the ski resorts just a short walk away. There are also a ton of places to eat within walking distance. The cottage is clean, warm, and well taken care of.

The thing that makes this particular listing surpass others, is the host Patrick. You can tell he is not just running a business here. He goes out of his way to go above and beyond and you can tell he genuinely cares about the best interest of people and wants the best possible experience for you while you’re visiting Hakuba. He is knowledgeable of everythingk in the area and the mountains as well. I will absolutely look forward to coming out here again and staying at Patrick’s Cottages...

Couldn’t be happier with our stay! The facilities were clean and organized, perfect for our family to easily feel comfortable and get great sleep. The host, Patrick, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was very responsive to messages which helped the day we arrived. He made sure our family had everything we needed including a crib and high chair. His knowledge of the area helped when we asked where to go for our kids to see snow. To top it off he mailed some of my wife’s irreplaceable jewelry she left behind. Saved our trip from potential disaster. What a legend! Great little cottage, very clean and has all amenities you may need. 7/11 right around the corner and close walk to little town to grab some food or drinks.
