I have visited APA hotels in different cities in Japan and trusted its quality. Extremely disappointed with this time's experience though, except for the location||1. This APA hotel has 2 buildings, the one we were staying at has no reception counter. We had to bring all our luggage to the other building for check in and roll every thing back to our building OURSELVES. NO ONE HELPED US. Not even a trolley or a cart. We were traveling with 2 elderly and a young kid||2. We were staying for 2 nights and we asked the receptionist to help us booking a restaurant for the second night's dinner, which was during our stay at the hotel|They REFUSED. I’ve been to Japan so many times and stayed at all sorts of hotels and never had I been refused for restaurant booking. Most Japanese restaurants staff do not speak English and the hotel staff are always kind and happy to help from my experience, just not this one||3. We asked for a knife to cut some fruits and just like their usual zero service attitude , there was no knife in the whole of the hotel||4. The rooms were nice enough to come with 2 bottles of water. From my experience the staff usually replenish the bottles next day even if we hadn’t finish the previous ones|But this hotel does not. We had finished our water but no refill. Well, it’s kind of expected from this hotel||5. Poor hygiene |There was a huge cockroach on the lift door of our floor. I had never encountered any thing similar in the whole of Japan ||6. No extra bed for kids|I understand this is optional but just don’t come as a family||7. I think what made us so dissatisfied with this hotel is that every “no” we had , came along with very bad attitude. The staff hardly spoke any English, they didn’t even try, and replied in a very rude manner. This is a 3 star hotel, I don’t think they deserve even 1 star, from hardware to software||In short, I would NEVER revisit nor recommend anyone to stay...
