Visited in mid-July 2025

Perhaps one of the larger public parks in Kagoshima, and this one is definitely the most accessible among those, just smack in the middle of the downtown and next to Tenmonkan shopping arcade. It was blanketed with well-manicured grass. It was deserted during my visit since it was in weekdays, but I can imagine lots of locals congregate here in weekends just to chill or to attend some public events...

Park is not really Big though is named Central Park. But nice and tidy. Enough stools and chairs...a pond to waddle your tiring feet. 2 public toilets and just next to Tenmonkan (Kagoshima famous...
