Rinn Horikawa Gojo — Hotel in Kyoto

The room was stunning the friendly staff where always there to help and the hotel itself is quiet, rooms very clean... However! And this is the big however!

The street noise is very loud, especially with the motor bikes that sound like they are racing every night, you will need Earbuds, the hotel does provide these but be aware that almost all the guests will take them for a much more pleasant sleep. My partner is a heavy sleeper and even he was woken up by them.

There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel and multiple bus stops around the cross junction, very accessible!

The room and hotel itself were amazing. The room was masive for Japan standards which was very nice to have and just relax.

The location on the other hand..its situated very far away from Kyoto station, which is a 20 min walk, and 10-15 from the closest station which wasn't really that convenient. It's also located right besides a motorway which you can hear a bit from in your room so if that bothers you..

But would a 100% recommend for the price!! The bed was amazing a lot of closet space, bathroom was as clean as could be,......

Although we had a bit trouble with late check-in. But it was as posted on the website booking platform.
