Onouenoyu Hotel — Hotel in Matsumoto

We stayed at this ryokan for one night. It was quite easy to get to from the nearest bus stop. From what I remember, there were possibly 3 families staying at this ryokan that night and we were staying at the room upstairs and another middle aged couple staying just below us. Unfortuantely this couple was the main problem for us. They kept the TV set on throught the night at high volume, and we could hear it from our room. Also the husband of this couple had no manners - at dinner time, he brought his own drinks to the dining room. He was chewing, chomping and gobbling up the food whilst drinking sake or beer at the same time. The dining room could easily accommodate more families, but it looks like this ryokan still stuck with the special measures that applied during Covid phase, so each family was seated with a great distance from one another. We didn't mind about that, but what really annoyed us was this couple who had the TV on all night, that kept us awake. Also the ryokan was situated near another ryokan or leisurely event hall and we could hear some karaoke noise at night time. The ryokan staff were very professional and polite. The good was good. I have stayed here almost 10 times and each time to my full satisfaction. Ryokan owners are very polite and caring. Ryokan itself is very quiet, located in the old spa district of Matsumoto. Rooms are large and furnished in a traditional way. True, the ryokan bath itself is only average one, but most people do visit real spas in the hills around Matsumoto anyway. I can recommend...

松本駅からバスで20分の浅間温泉の中腹にある宿。町の銭湯・仙気の湯がすぐ隣です。|古い木造建築の宿。ミシミシ音の鳴る廊下・階段・炬燵のある部屋・今は亡き祖父母の家に遊びに来た様な錯覚を覚えました。||お風呂は内湯のみですが、これまた雰囲気あります。かすかに硫黄の香りがするお湯はph8.9アルカリ性単純泉で完全な源泉掛流し・暫く浸かるとツルツルした感触がたまらない良いお湯。|化粧水等のアメニティーは無し。||ビジネスプランで宿泊しました。2食付・9時チェックアウト・トイレは共同のお部屋でしたが快適に滞在できました。夜間のお風呂利用の際に廊下がとても暗いので怖いのとお部屋にタオル掛けが見あたらなかったのが不便だった位…。||朝晩の御食事は美味しく頂けました。こちらのお料理は何を頂いてもきっと美味しいと思います。ビジネスプランは選択肢無しですが充分な量で美味。選択肢があったのなら馬刺しプランにしたかった〜||最近立続けに温泉旅館2食付・1万円でお釣り有のいい宿に宿泊してしまい…少し戸惑いすら覚えています。採算とれているのかなぁ〜と…。建物も老朽化すればそれなりにメンテ費用も発生する筈。||松本駅から1時間に1本しかバスが無く、タクシー利用ですと宿まで3,000-。浅間温泉も正直相当寂れた感のある温泉街ですが…言葉かえればしっぽり過ごせる様な…。|日本の雅な気分を満喫できる様な宿ではけっして無い家系旅館ですが、松本周辺で殺風景なビジネスホテルに宿泊するなら少し足をのばして浅間温泉での宿泊をお薦めします。いいお湯が待ってます！|チェックアウトの際、松本城に行く話をしたのですが、こちらで半額券を購入できました。予定のある方は利用されては。|宿泊費も相まっていつかお気に入りの本を持込んで暢んびり連泊...
