Great izakaya spot which was a 2 min walk from our onsen. We couldn’t check in until 3pm so we found this spot for lunch which was perfect. We had the chicken carrage, salted fried chicken breast, egg rolls and yakisoba noodles. Everything was great! Prepare to use Google Translate though as there was no English menu but the owners were very nice and accommodating. It is clearly a local spot but we stayed here for 2 hours after several beers which was great. Here is a photo of all our polished off plates :) Highly recommended! Thank you to the owners. Arigato Gozaimasu!

The neopolitan hotplate pasta was the best I've ever had, and I've tried 5 just around Matsumoto. It's creamy even without cheese, a perfect meal after an onsen or super sento! Menu is in Japanese but you can Google translate to see, it is a highlighted item and I highly recommend it!

As a Belgian tourist travelling to Matsumoto for the first time, I had an amazing experience at this restaurant just after relaxing in Asama Onsen. The dish was fresh, very tasty and skillfuly made ! As for the service, the owner is very welcoming and client-oriented. I truly recommend...
