This hotel is within a 15 minute walk to Dotonbori and pretty close to the metro. This is a very nice place to stay while in Osaka. |The room with two double beds was spacious and included a kitchen with utensils a microwave, refrigerator and a dining room table, and a washing machine. We also had a balcony. |Be aware though, there is no staff on site. Check in is done virtually and your room key will be a code given after check in. To get into the hotel you need a code that should come through email. If you book through a third party site such as Travelocity, you won’t get that code. If you book directly through the hotel you will get that email. |My suggestion would be to contact your booking site and get them to contact the hotel before you arrive for that entrance code. |If you happen to arrive and don’t have access to the building, there are instructions with an email address to get you your code. They were responsive within 10 minutes. |All in all this is a great place to stay with a good location and if you plan on wanting to make your own food to save some money this is a nice alternative...
Read moreNot bad but not great either. Despite it's name this is far from a "hotel" - it's more an Airbnb. Check in is done virtually, there is no staff on site. There's is no room service at all. Easy to get to from the closest Station, there is an alleyway to the right of the hotel (facing the hotel entrance). The room itself was much smaller than expected, there's was barely any room to open even one suitcase let alone three. The toilet and bathroom are separated which we liked. We used the small kitchen area once but was nice to have the option. There's a washing machine inside the bathroom area. There is air con unit in the shower which has a clothes drying function which worked really well. There's not much around the area. Most days we walked to Dontonburi area which is about 15-20min on foot. There was a balcony but it faced directly into the buildings behind. The area has some small workshops so was a bit noisy in the early morning. We probably wouldn't stay again, the space didn't make up for the...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel recently and was appalled that there was no front desk service staff. We were greeted with an apartment-like 'hotel' and it took us awhile to figure out how to get the passcode to open the main door. Next we went through the main door, and met with another surprise, no front desk staff, only 1 pathetic lobby full of comic books, and 2 tablets. That was where we spoke to a person from the tablet screen who seemed like he was attending to us from overseas. He asked us to provide passport info and then gave us the passcode to open our hotel room door. Throughout the stay, there was no room service to make up the room, no change of towels and we even had to bring down our own trash to the designated area. How can they market this as a HOTEL? Hence, our stay was not satisfactory. Pls do not book this HOTEL, if you like to have hotel services. This is an apartment where you are expected to wash the towels and cook....
